It just came out today, i might go and buy it tonight. But my parents are at parent teacher interviews, and when they come back, i might not be allowed to go anywhere for a while :|

Awesome, I'm probably going to end up getting it for myself once it drops to $30-40. THUG2 is the best.

The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132.

Tony Hawk games started sucking once the first one came out.

I'd say they went downhill with the release of 4. 1-3 were great games.

I liked 4, and thug was pretty good with the "off-board" bit added, all the rest were abit...lame.

Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?

Final Fantasy

Currently Listening To ~ Hotel California / The Eagles

I think 4 was the last decent one, with every game since being a huge focus-group-knows-what-will-appeal-to-teenagers endeavour. In the last few it has been so obvious that it has been focus groups deciding what teenagers like, it is like your parents trying to be 'hip' - plain embarrassing.

Not to mention that they're all ad-fests now.

Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

4 was the first one I couldn't get through the entire time. I had a ton of fun getting through 1-3, I think it was mostly because of the timed areas. 4 was still good but not as good as the first 3 I think.

the THUG serries I disliked.

i thought the games were good up til THUG2, however, in THUG I didn't like the car driving bit... but i just thought THUG2 absolutely killed it, and with these new games i feel they're just beating the series over the head repeatedly

In hawk games, all i do is go to certain levels and session the crap out of areas. Like in Wasteland, the first level, where the staircase is. I would nollie shuv it up, manual, then tre flip off, and all types of combos.

Because that's so possible in real life. O_o

Don't get me wrong, I've played the games, owned a few and enjoyed them [hell I wasn't too bad at 'em either] but the physics just makes me angry.

Would you rather realistic physics were you have to watch your character take a half-hour rest after doing a couple kickflips and a few flips? That sounds pretty boring to me.

Unrealistic ftw!

You see the physics in this game? They look amazing, the footwork on the guys is actually how you do the trick in real life.

I think this game is going to be a huge hit because of a whole new graphics and physics engine.
