Could someone help me come up with an idea?

I'm doing a contest for a project in school right now, and I've spent basically the hour thinking of ideas, but I've blanked out. All I really need is someone to jump start me with a good idea. The theme we have to go off of is "Living together in harmony." It's based off of Martin Luther King, so they mean diversity-wise. I'm using photoshop, and can basically make whatever I want, but the openness of the topic is kind of overwhelming me. Any ideas of what I could make would be appreciated. :)

Around 8x10 I'd say.

(The only thing that came to my mind when you said that was that overdone picture with the stick figures of different colored people holding hands in a circle around a circle earth. :P )

Thanks for the input - keep em coming.

Does your school have an orchestra or a concert band?

Take a series of individual photos of people playing their instruments, and then one photo of the entire ensemble. Bonus points if the musicians represent multiple ethnic backgrounds.

Living together in "harmony" - get it? Har har, punning is excellent.

Eckered, your digipaint made me afraid that it was going to eat me.

Anyways, I think it would be cool to have a single face that's sort of a composite of men and women and different races. I don't mean an amalgum but more like a different part of the face for a different race, like dividing up the face into 8 equal sections radially (like a clock). For example, you divide a face up into 4 parts; the upper left is caucasian, upper right asian, lower left african-american, and lower right hispanic just as examples. You could show the differences among people but them all coming together to form one whole. The hardest part would be blending the different colors of the skin together as you trasitioned from section to section. Sorry if this is a bit unclear.

I group of kids from different ethnicities hanging out somewhere like a park or a mall?

Not to be a party pooper - but the concept of just having a bunch of kids/people of different ethnicities in a group has become quite cliche in recent years.

You'd want to be unique - for instance, maybe get a photo of a black dog, white cat and yellow duck [that live together 'harmoniously' - yuou know, those farm animals that have grown up together and sleep/play with eachother] and use that as an animalistic metaphor as to mankind potentiality for harmonious living.
