What's the newbiest thing you've ever done/said? Mine was paying 80k for a rune scimmy #-o

Well, I have never done anything much stupid, well, let's see, let's go back to very many months, 2005, on first days as members, I brought rune kiteshield to the king black dragon. It was probably because back then, I didn't know about danger, and just wanted to see what happens if I do that. It's been so long ago, I never done anything THAT stupid since then.

well when i was about lvl 45 i fell for the trust game scam

 

 

 

i mostly fell for it because the guy actually had 1 mil with him.

 

 

 

i gave him about 500k worth of stuff

grr i just got scammed for 2 mil thanks to the "trust" game :-(. I probably did because the guy did have 8 mil with him, was level 108, and I won 2 mil at first. Then, I offered 4 mil, and he logged :cry:

- 100 tinderboxes

 

 

 

and

 

 

 

- 150 shovels...

I fell for the full rune for 300k scam- I got 30k instead of 300k!

And, I fell for the "Want me to trim your armour?" scam! I also paid the guy 100 coins for "taking the trouble to trim my armour!" :wall:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Luckily, It was only Iron armour that I could make!

I bought 500 cosmic runes 3k each one time... :( I didn't know the price at that time...

- When I was a brand new player I stood in Lumbridge by Bob the ax dude for about five minutes debating whether or not I should give him my broken ax to fix because I was sure that if I did he was going to scam me out of it. :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Made about three accouts before I settled on this one because I died on each of them before I discovered the general store and lost my tinderbox each time and was sure that I wouldn't be able to get it back and my character was ruined. :oops:

- Spent about 30 minutes in Keldagrim looking for people to sell me bars of metal for the Giant Dwarf quest and never thought for a second that I could just superheat some ores to make bars.

In my old days i bought alot of runes extremely over priced. I would have almost enough to buy a santa hat, if i brought at the right price.

Something that I did that was stupid, hmm does collecting all types of outfits count? Or maybe it was when I ran to the chaos elemental, actually I have done too many stupid things, I bet Jagex has a book on my stupid actions and laughs at them when they are bummed at the sight of all the noobs in the game.

Now I remember one! It was in my early membership days. A good friend of mine (who quit sadly :( ) Merchanted Masks. They costed like 18mil at the time. As I was chopping trees and I saw a Tribal mask-thinking it was the 18 mil mask my friend was merchanting. I bought it for 80k... I told my friend what I did and he told me it was a Haloween mask, not Tribal. :oops:
