Well that title says "iron," so I think it would be safe to say that I want to know where to mine iron!

I like the two rocks at west Varrock myself. Hit one, then the one behind you and the first one is usually ready by then. East Varrock is good also but I found that the time spent running from rock to rock can cost you ore if some half way good miners are there just sitting on a couple rocks. With the West Varrock the only problem I get is you usually run into some level 15 miner that thinks he should be allowed to have one of the rocks because he can mine iron now. It can make for some colorful language but I usually don't respond until someone says they reported me. Which at that point it is always interesting to ask what you were reported for.

Yeah east varrock is the best for F2p for iron! but it does get crowded so dwarven mines are good too because they're less busy.

I always used the dwarven mines, especially since if you get bored with iron you can switch to something else =) or mine several things at once.

For banking it's Varrock East, with two rocks on a full server you almost never stop. For powering it's Al Karid.

If you are a high level miner banking dwarf mine is great because it is the same thing as varry but a tad bit closer. You just have a few higher level miners there. I haven't tried it yet but if you are changledd and want to try something new, the mine under lumby is intreging to me, because they removed the fence.
