I like the layout but i think the tekst in the menu need to bee some smaller and maybe choose some other font. Another thing i don't like is the size :anxious: i have a 1280x1024 screen :XD: maybe u untherstand lol...

The text on the side bar could possibly be smaller, but what about the font? I'm not going to use a pixel, digital or LCD font. They look really sucky, i've tried. I just wanted a smooth, clean looking font - which I have.

Of course it's JPG. -.- If it were PNG it would be much bigger files and a much longer loading time. Also there are 31 seperate images there, no way im re-uploading 31 seperate images which will take 3x as long.

It seems like you wrote your own HTML, and just made a big table with lots of images. Why not instead of making 31 images, lots of load time, simply code your own HTML. I can help you if you need help with it too.

Bumping to say i've updated with a few things.

 

 

 

• - There is now text on the website and not just images. Using HTML and tables (-__-) I managed to position it right.
   
   
   
  - Gallery is up with 8 images. Thumbnails with clickable links to the original signature.

What I am new at is the coding of it, I know little HTML knowledge so I am using tables to get the look right before I learn CSS to provide a better feel to it. Freewebs is also a bad host and will randomly kill images or even the whole page.

I hosted a old site on freeboards not too long ago and it displayed fine. Bad coding will hurt, but it doesn't destroy the image itself.

Heheh, yeah the choppy text was from when I set the quality of the slices. :-w I really should sort that out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But to be honest, this was as I invisioned the website when I was designing it. I don't particularly feel like brushing a website either. :P I may improve on it by adding in some C4Ds in each of the menu boxes. I'm still unsure.

You should use the div tag for layout and position along with css. why?
