cadburys_egg
I designed, built and uploaded this website. I am planning on turning it into my gallery and possible requests website. I made this a long time ago, I haven't had any time to work on it lately. But you can view here; www.freewebs.com/strategicprojects/ (C+P into your browser's URL box.) Sorry for bypassing the filter, mods, but I know there are no harmful, malicious programs that could be downloaded (nothing to download anyway), and I know there is no vulgar or adult content on it. The links work and re-direct to the correct page, but there is no content on any page except the index page. (FYI, I do know the headers of all pages say ".: Strategic Designs :." and not ".: Strategic Projects :.", i'm fixing this now.) Looking for crits and comments regarding it's layout, thanks. :)
rik
I like the layout but i think the tekst in the menu need to bee some smaller and maybe choose some other font. Another thing i don't like is the size :anxious: i have a 1280x1024 screen :XD: maybe u untherstand lol... overall i still think it needs some more work but for the layout a nice job done

I'm not going to use a pixel, digital or LCD font. They look really sucky, i've tried. I just wanted a smooth, clean looking font - which I have. Thanks for the comments and such though. cadburys_egg
jpg aleart  . look at all that crap around the text on the side... may want to clean that up... Of course it's JPG. -.- If it were PNG it would be much bigger files and a much longer loading time. Also there are 31 seperate images there, no way im re-uploading 31 seperate images which will take 3x as long. And Nazgul, it's a website, i'm not planning on turning it into a GFX community. I might when I get a long time to work on it, but not now.

Nadril
Most of it's nice, but you really need to fix the resolution problem. (running at 1280x1024)

Fadfdfd
It seems like you wrote your own HTML, and just made a big table with lots of images. Why not instead of making 31 images, lots of load time, simply code your own HTML. I can help you if you need help with it too.
cadburys_egg
Bumping to say i've updated with a few things. - There is now text on the website and not just images. Using HTML and tables (-__-) I managed to position it right. - Gallery is up with 8 images. Thumbnails with clickable links to the original signature. - Forum is up! Feel free to register there! That's all, any more comments or crits towards the website?
Metroid
Your tables are pretty bad atm tbh. The skin is choppy, the whole feel to it. The whole site in my opinion is 1/10th of your skill. Sorry, but I don't feel you've put much effort into this site, that or you made this a LONG time ago, and didn't update a single thing. Protect the Light... I designed the whole thing. What I am new at is the coding of it, I know little HTML knowledge so I am using tables to get the look right before I learn CSS to provide a better feel to it. Freewebs is also a bad host and will randomly kill images or even the whole page.
Metroid
I hosted a old site on freeboards not too long ago and it displayed fine. Bad coding will hurt, but it doesn't destroy the image itself. Come on cad, do you really think choppy text is bringing out your full potential? At least make smooth text! :wall: Everything is plain, it's fine to be sleek. But plain is another thing. If you would of made this website like you make your sigs.. it would be alot better. Heheh, yeah the choppy text was from when I set the quality of the slices. :-w I really should sort that out. But to be honest, this was as I invisioned the website when I was designing it. I don't particularly feel like brushing a website either. :P I may improve on it by adding in some C4Ds in each of the menu boxes. I'm still unsure. Darrel104
You should use the div tag for layout and position along with css. why? here is a website that i made(for school) witch uses div tags for an example: http://www.freewebs.com/iron-fe/
