tripsis
MSN Everyone I converse with uses it. With no exception. Agreed. Unfortunately, I have an Apple computer so I can't get a very.. dashing version of MSN. But Yahoo is always to the rescue if I ever feel the desire to use my webcam or something. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

Kinslayer777
While i prefer trillian for my regular use, i use Gaim Portable app on my thumbdrive. I also have firefox portable, and openoffice portable suite there. What's portable? It runs off the thumb drive (sort of, it uses the computer but doesnt require install or anything) and is useful for when you're not on your own computer and can't install. Namely for most people here; school. I enjoy it for the library, I just can't deal with IE I'm spoiled :P
Anesthesia
I used to run trillian as a portable app - it doesn't need to be installed on the machine to run. I just installed it to the thumbdrive on my machine at home then ran it on uni machines. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be. The local library has reasonable computers and the portable aps run fine. The key is running programs designed as portable aps. Like the stripped firefox portable, and such. Portable Firefox doesn't exactly run like a dream with a computer with 256mb RAM and so much monitoring software hogging the ram it's ridiculous (that and they're too old to have USB 2.0 ports >.<) I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
