November 27, 200619 yr Is it worth it to buy a very large amount (i.e. 250k) of some item (like iron ore) for say 100 gp each. Can I turn that around for 120-125 gp each? Or what other ways can you merchant in f2p with ~25 mill? thanks.
November 27, 200619 yr Ok, first of if you have 25 mil f2p you must know how to merchant OR you like to use ebay. :shame:
November 27, 200619 yr Author I was formerly p2p, and worked hard for my money. And f2p lacks the high-priced items and official forums that p2p has.
November 27, 200619 yr Yes, buying 250k iron ore for 25m and selling it again for 31.2m is a good way to merchant. |Barrows Drops-7|Dragon Drops-5|

November 27, 200619 yr Man I wish I bought 20k yews and held on to them until they grew in price, I woulda made it big..
November 27, 200619 yr Bulk merchanting is an efficient technique to merchanting if ur willing to take the risks (depending on wat u buy). U bot iron for a safe price (100gp ea). So if u cant sell them for a profit, u cud still sell it at wat u bot it for and get ur initial money back. THis will probably be the case, i doubt u will get 120 ea for the iron ores. But good luck anyway. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.
November 27, 200619 yr Author are there risks? barring another ess fiasco, I don't think there are many risks, but I've never done something like this before.

Well, sure, but if you buy for a price that is quite low, you can still break even AT LEAST by selling it for the same price. And whoever said to leave yourself with about 5mil, yeah. You never know... Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
