December 3, 200619 yr Don't bother merchanting now; only noobs, scammers, and lurers do it now. It used to be a good way to make money over 2 years ago. Now it's just a waste of time. Enjoy standing around and wasting a few hours.
December 3, 200619 yr I say high-alch rules :D (at summer I made enough steel plates and high-alched them, and I made 1,5m out of it. I made them with own ores. I mined 17k coal, and 7,5 iron. I started the mining at february)
December 3, 200619 yr Well, if people aren't afraid to compromise a little bit, it's not too hard to make some money merchanting. I mean trying to sell lobs for like 250 when no ones paying more than 210-220 gp is stupid, but if you bump your price down a little bit it'll work fine. For example, I bought a whole bunch of iron ore off someone for like 40 each. I could've tried to sell for 100 each to make the most money, but I sold for 80 and made plenty of money. If you sell stuff on the forums you'll get a buyer a lot quicker.
December 3, 200619 yr well depending what you're merchanting, you could still make a profit by going to a non-merchanting world. Enjoy standing around and wasting a few hours. lol I'm none of those things and can make between 50 100k and hour plus I am f2p On topic you only buy sell big amounts of things on world 1. I don't even buy my goods on them. I make more money buying in small chunks on less populated worlds then selling in bulk on world 1.
