It's a game, where you use your "dudes" to win victory over another player. Basically, I'd like to know if there would be enough interest for me to set up a tournament. Finding an easy-to-use online chess program isn't much of a problem, so I leave it to you. Want to play some games?

Same, as long its on the weekend. Methinks yahoo chess would probably be the easiest way for many to get involved.

I'm not much of a chess player (I'm not good) but last year my study hall decided to have a chess tournement. It was pretty fun but there was only an hour and a half each day to play and we only had 2 chess boards so it took a few weeks to finally have a winner. No, I didn't win.. Some kid who the teacher always picked on for being Dutch won. Good times.. Just thought I'd share that..

I don't think I would take it so far as to make it an OT Events Team thing, but if you think that's a good idea, we could have a discussion on it.

I haven't played chess in a while. But I was pretty good in what, 4th grade? (We had a class tournament organized by our teacher. I came in 4th.) So maybe I'll join. Depends on when and if I have time.

I'll get a round-robin style tournament set up if I see there's enough interest (about 10+ people).
