How to use the "5" key instead of clicking

I've seen the topic to, but I personally think the title should be "How to Macro". To me, that's macroing, but to others, it's not.

If you're using Windows Xp then..

  • Open Control Panel.

    Open Accessibility options

    Click the tab 'mouse'

    Turn on Mouse Keys

You have to have your 'Number Lock' on, and it uses the number 5 as the left click. Useful only for High Alchemy really..

Here's how to do it with windows:

1. Press alt+right shift+num lock.

2. click ok from the opening window.

3. use numpad as a mouse.

I have personally asked this from jagex and a mod replied to it saying that all the regular hotkeys that everyone can use on O/S are legal and this is not concidered as macroing.

If you do an egosearch of me you can find several posts about it and the quote i put there about it.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either

a fool or a coward.

Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law

is both.

For a wounded man shall say to his assailant:

"If I live, I will kill you, If I Die, you are forgiven."

Such is the Rule of Honor.

Don't see how it could possibly be macroing. You're pressing one button to generate one click. Same as when you actually click the mouse. The computer isn't doing any clicking for you, you're just pressing down a different thing than normal to generate a mouseclick.
