I'm tired of f2p'ers posting "give us more stuff" threads. F2p is FREE. You don't PAY anything. Jagex SELLS p2p to members. Members are BUYING updates. If you want an update BUY IT.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I, myself,am not a member, but I'm not complaining. I won't become a member until I do everything a nonmember can do. I'm sure you have some things to do in Runescape still. When you are level 99 in every f2p skill, then you can complain about not having enough weapons. (A.K.A. not enough things to so in Runescape.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By the way, Jagex will only give f2p updates that they believe will help convert more members. The Stronghold of Security helps prevent f2p'ers from losing equipment from scammers, so that they won't quit from losing all of their RS possessions. Jagex might give f2p some members content, but only to give nonmembers a taste of what p2p is like, such as a minigame where you can level a few member only skills to level 3.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your suggestion is also poor and not thought out, who would wear stone on their heads? A granite warhammer is the same thing as a granite maul. How would the nonmembers get the items, they are slayer drops, a members only skill? Does any nonmember besides you really want new weapons over a different update? Besides, granite mauls, legs, and shields are worse than rune scimitars, platelegs, and kiteshields, respectively.

You, who hates members so much, would become a huge hypocrit if you became a member. Becoming a member for you would be saying, "You all are right, F2P doesn't deserve new updates. If someone does not understand what you wrote, then I would not call them an "ideat" at all, I would call you one, because they will only think, "Wow, he must not care about his post because he typed so bad, I don't understand him!" No offence but people like you gotta stop being biased, we really do not need that type of person. The only updates i want are ones that benefits both sides, or that are pure fun ( holiday events, example ). Your forgetting that Jagex makes some money of the f2p advertisments. f2p is not a total loss for them. Also, image where Jagex would be if they cut off f2p. Few people would join, and as the remaining members quit, the population would drop, and Jagex could easily go broke. I think Jagex should give f2p just enough updates to keep most people playing, and continue to update members.

Exactly. My thoughts about F2P are that they should get SENSIBLE updates, because they give not-that-much-but-not-that-little money through ads. I have no problem with small/sensible F2P updates, such as the bank space one or a good graphical update (Bank page, friend's list, etc.). I only have a problem when it comes to nonsense whining.

F2P is just a demo. It is just there so people can get the feel of Runescape before they shell out 5 bucks, or even worse, risk getting credit card info stolen. I don't think F2P should get any content upgrades, only things like graphics and safety. It's a demo, not the game. If you want upgrades, pay your 5 dollars a month. Its not alot of money.
