Pure Rangers Guide.

Hello everyone, im working on my pure while writing this. Out of all the things i am about to tell you only one will matter. Dedication to your skill. Dedication, without this you will absolutly fail, you will need to stick to your skill till the end! Here are some ways to stay focused.

-Listen to music while training.

-Watch tv while training.

-Stay in a populated world to start conversations.

Now thats out of the way, lets get to the basics. My oppinion of a good Range Pure is a ranger who can hurt opponents fast and whipe them out quickly. In order to acheive this there are some key spots you will need to train. Range, get this high for quick high hits, str and att for them one hit take outs near the end of your players HP, and magic. You need magic, basically to stop your darn enemy from running or teleing away. I will explain the steps to get there.

!!~~!!

Starting off.

Well every great pker has to have a great name. Get a catchy name that your enemy will remember upon their death.

Ok, now off of tutorial island make sure you keep your stats the way they are, get your range to 3 but thats it.

*IMPORTANT* NEVER USE LONGRANGE WHEN TRAINING RANGE, IT WILL RAISE DEF. */IMPORTANT*

Now, from off of tut island we need arrows. Obtain some arrows somehow, bronze are the best because they are throwaways. Cheap and easy to obtain. Here head over to the Crafting Guild. Inside here start ranging cows, this is simple but gets quite boring. Stop when you reach lvl 15.

At lvl 15 its time to head over to The Stronghold of Security. *NOTE*Its reccomended that you take the time to go through it all.*/NOTE* Now head over the the Minotaurs, they are in lvl 1 of the Stronghold. There is a spot to protect from there attacks. Do this untill your lvl 25, i even went to 35. From here go back to the crafting guild.

Ok, now go inside where the cows are and head west. Here you will be on the opposite side of hobgoblins, range these with your bronze arrows. *NOTE* You will not get your arrows back. */NOTE* Once lvl 40 quit for a while and lets start maging.

!!~~!!

Starting mage.

Ok, remember those cows we ranged? You guessed it, head back there with and train mage till you can wind bolt. After that head west back to the hobs till you can Blast, then till you can Cammy tele, Cammy tele till you can Alc. and Alc to you can teleblock.... <--Very clutterd sry, might update that later.

!!~~!!

Back to range.

Ok, 40 range a'? Go buy you some Green Chaps and Vambraces and about 10k Iron Knives. Ok, head to Castle Wars. From here head East crossing the bridges until you see ougres ( Also west of Yanille ). Range these ougres till lvl 60 range, yes thats 60 range! You should have about 5k Knivs left over. Lets review what we have.

!!~~!!

1 Attack

1 Strength

1 Defense <--IMPORTANT to keep this low

60 Mage <--At least

60 Range

1 Prayer.

Ok, your pretty good so far, go take a break, skill do w/e but dont train combat.

!!~~!!

Back to the ranging.

Ok, you heard it right, back to ranging. But it gets funner. Ok, now take them iron knives and a lot of iron arrows and head down to lesser deamons. There is a place to hide, it is inbetween to pillars, a torch and a skull. Hide here and range away till lvl 70 range.

!!~~!!

Ok, boring part. 85 Mage. Well here it is, the big Ocho Cinco. My best suggestion, head to edge in world 2 and start alchin. This will take a lot of alcs, make sure to watch for good deals while you alc, people sell "recent" pk's for cheap ammounts. Once 85 Mage we shift up a gear.

!!~~!!

Quests.

Ok, now we need Attack and Strength. I will edit later but there are quest out there that give attack and strenght xp when complete, do these quests and stop anywhere below 60 attack, and w/e str you want. For the rest, Pest Control. Get your attack to 60 and stop it there, spend rest of points on well, str, ran, or mage. Perferably Str.

Aim for this:

60 Attack

** Strenght, match this to your range lvl.

!!~~!!

Keep training.

Ok, enough said and done, if you made it this far. CONGRATS, you earned it. Now guess what. GO TRAIN SOME MORE! lol bet that made ya feel bad, well guess what? Your worth it.

Get your Range and Str to 99 and mage, well not required but you could match it to your range lvl without combating. Go do lost city, monkey madness, and dt for your pk gear.

!!~~!!

First post! Pretty decent guide overall, it'd help a lot if you threw in some pictures and statistics like more of the "You need 5k iron knives..." etc. I'd rate it a 6.5/10, and 8 or 9/10 if you include the above...

Yeah. Not a bad guide but it could be better.

After reviewing this guide that you have made, I will give you a 7.5/10 rating, why? I will list the following that you need to make this guide better, in my perspective.

1. Use different fonts for each step

2. Pictures is a must to have people to refer to, so they know

3. Last one, have a table of contents and make it a little more organized.

Overall, still very good, I would personally use this if I made a pure, but if you added what I have put above, it would make life easier. Good guide =D>
