This doesn't belong here, perhaps try Help and Advice?

Moved to the correct forum. :)

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

One of the first fan sites around, now there are thousands.

Started by some of the biggest players in runescape at the time. Bluerose, Lighting ect

Fame from players, and it being the first site like this around means that it will get some heavy traffic coming through. It's expanded ever since.

And Laila well done on becoming a mod :)

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Instead of learning how to write the code for your own site, and then paying for a domain, you can help out the RS community right here. Between the help and advice forum, and player made guides you have plenty of opportunity to share your knowledge with your fellow players.

When you google runescape, tip.it is the first site other than runescape.com itself.

Ok so how do I help out tip.it ?

If, by that you mean how do you become a member of the staff, I believe your question can be answered here.

You cannot apply to join the staff, you must be chosen by the staff itself.

For now, you can just help out Tip.it by reporting any posts that you see breaking the rules and at the same time, keeping a clean record yourself

Tip.it is pretty big, but I'm pretty sure RSC is bigger :?: I like RSC's PK Forums compared to Tip.it's, because people actually browse them and there are way better PKers there. Can someone answer my question, is RSC bigger than Tip.it. And don't say Tip.it>RSC or something like that  Because it's an opinion...

How do you determine if a forum is bigger than another? Number of posts? threads? Members? Some undetermined factor?

In terms of members, Tip.It is larger. We have 137,347 members, while RSC has 81,622.

For posts, RSC has 1,214,903 total posts. Tip.It has 1,410,722 articles, which I assume are threads, so we would have more posts as well.

But seriously, how do you decide which is larger?

I kinda think RSC is better though, but thats my opinion. Their help and advise board isn't common sense questions and don't always ask how to make money. Just about every PKer posts their vids there and you're allowed RL pics

Also helps you used to be able to talk about tip.it in the actual game. For one because it isn't a .com address it avoided the censor for alot longer than some other addresses and they were less strict when it came to talking about websites so it kinda slipped by. I remember seeing tip.it mentioned several times a day while playing rs. Reason I first came to learn about it. You could also refer newbs to tip.it/runescape pretty easily. The / did get censored so you had to type \ and tell them to reverse it or type out the word slash but it wasn't too difficult and you wouldn't have gotten banned or muted for it then. Now it would be considerably harder to advertise a new site especially to new players.

What site I use depends what information I'm interested in getting. Can't say one is truly better than another in all aspects.

True true, Cirtain sites have their own "speciality" if you like,

for instance i cross reference Tip.it,Zybez and Rune HQ to do quests - they all have little things that in the whole make the TOTAL guide GREAT \' \'
