December 14, 200619 yr Let's make more laws! Rules will solve every problem! As long as everyone actually follows them, they do. People are just ignorant and and don't realize that if everyone did follow the laws, there would be no problems. That's true, but as you know most humans aren't mindless robots and many of them are greedy. When a few start breaking the rules and obtain profit and benefits for it without proper punishment, it will encourage more people to do so. In reality laws are useless, the only thing that matters is how hard they are enforced. In this case, young people may not be greedy but when they see their underage friends driving even though it's illegal, they will be faced with the question "why can't I, then?". You know, there's no reward for obeying the law, and the police don't have resources to stop millions of cars in Ontario just to check the ID's of every driver just in case they're 17 or 16. This law is useless because it is too hard to enforce. Although it seems lately that laws are becoming a problem, because they get stricter after a few greedy people abused the last generation of laws ;\ .. after a few iterations you can't even breath without breaking a law. Let's make more laws! Rules will solve every problem! As long as everyone actually follows them, they do. People are just ignorant and and don't realize that if everyone did follow the laws, there would be no problems. If people weren't ignorant and greedy you wouldn't need laws in the first place.

December 14, 200619 yr It might give someone who wants to drop out that added incentive to stay in school. sure, its a great incentive, but if they have a job, how are they gonna get to it? i dont think this was thought about thurruly (rediculous spelling, i know, couldnt be bothered atm)

Or get their parents to drive them, since that's where they will most likely be living if they don't get a High School education. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.

You don't need a high school diploma to drive - you just need to be making progress towards it. So if you're in high school, and you're old enough (16 in Ontario), you can drive to your job.
December 14, 200619 yr I dont think people understand the way driving is done in most of Canada (I think most provinces follow this). Once you get your license, you cant drive by yourself automatically. You have to drive with someone who has driven for 4 years in the car. Then after a year you can get your G2 license which allows you drive by yourself, just you have to have a 0.00% blood alcohol level, and i think thats it. BTW the min driving age in Ontario is 16. so by the time you can get your full license your almost out of high school. You might as well stay the whole way. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! I know that.... I don't understand where you're coming from with that. This is all about being older than 16, having your license, dropping out of school and then your license would get taken away. December 15, 200619 yr IIRC, you only need 16 credits to go to a college, like St. Lawrence, Niagara, or George Brown. You can do it in 2 years, 3 if you're a slacker, apply to college, and learn a trade.
December 15, 200619 yr Author I laughed. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
December 15, 200619 yr .... Sorry, what I said was meant to be said to the person you were quoting. just you have to have a 0.00% blood alcohol level, and i think thats it. Also, you can't carry more people in your car than there are seatbelts.
December 15, 200619 yr just you have to have a 0.00% blood alcohol level, and i think thats it. Also, you can't carry more people in your car than there are seatbelts. :-k I thought you cant even do that with a G license. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting!
