December 14, 200619 yr Having a rough time with that shark and the angle of the pool of water.. I finished up the stones Reworked the tree and placed a new one in Worked on pool Finished upper roof Redid second (smaller) door I need to add the ledge that the woman is standing on so that the perspective pops back into view... I also need to work on the rh wall... thoughts??? New sigzor^^
December 14, 200619 yr Looks nice so far. The arches on the left wall look really odd. Are they suppose to be getting smaller and fatter? Or your perspective is just wrong. My dA account..retired, as of the 1st January 2008.
December 15, 200619 yr I guess 2 posts/47 views isn't bad. Lots of people are gonna wake up without their lower torso. Aanyways, I agree with the above poster. Fix the arching doorways on the left. The lady's looking pretty good. ;P I like her hair. The doorway's pretty sweet as well. I'll watch the topic. ;P It really has

I'll give em a second chance  I will fix those arches first thing today New sigzor^^
December 16, 200619 yr Author post! or I chop you into three parts... muwhaaaaaa hiyaaa!!! Post  New sigzor^^
December 16, 200619 yr Heh, getting to know what your up against, youll hear from my work soon enough  . Ahum, C/c, maybe with the pool make the downside of it more dark, and ligher when you go up, also, make some waves of the shark disturb that. And at the edges make it lighter too. December 16, 200619 yr Whats the actual idea behinid this pixel? Im a bit miffed about it, is it meant to be indoors?
December 16, 200619 yr Author Whats the actual idea behinid this pixel? Im a bit miffed about it, is it meant to be indoors? It is sopposed to be a femal mage overlooking an indoor garden with a treasure room spilling out and to the lh side of the pixel another outdoor garden... rh side of the pixel I have no clue what i am going to do with New sigzor^^
December 16, 200619 yr Ok, well the pool really doesnt look right, it needs to be in the same perspective as the arches. Being the lazy git that I am, if I were you I would make the pool a rectangle for ease of drawing. You say you've finished the stones? You should dither them, and perhaps add a shadow tone too.

I tried dithering on a few of the stonesl... they are so small it doesn't look good on them... New sigzor^^
December 16, 200619 yr Well I tried it out because I didnt believe you, frankly, and I think it looks fine. The reason it didnt look good was simply because your highlight colour was too bright.

Maybe they do need some dithering on the edges and such... this is my first sig that I have ever tried (all my others have been avatars) New sigzor^^
December 17, 200619 yr Hmm, The walls look like they're to thin to me, and the angle of the pool looks... off somehow, but the person looks good.
December 17, 200619 yr Please, spare my torso! Alright, time to c/c. *rubs hands together* I like what you've done with the water so far - I've yet to attempt doing such a difficult thing to pixel but you seem to be pulling it off. :D I also like what you did with the coins spilling out, they're well defined. The stone walls look awfully thin to me. :| Have you tried thickening them out? It just doesn't seem like they're going to hold up if they're as thin as the door. The tree by the water's edge looks like it's about to topple over - unless you're going for that effect, you might want to straighten it out. :P The pool, as you've already identified, is at an odd angle - maybe try making the pool widen as it approaches us. :| Not too sure what to do with it though. It's probably just me, but the character (I assume it's supposed to be female) has very masculine facial features. :| Ignore me if I'm completely wrong. X_X That should keep you going for a while. Keep it up, it's looking good apart from the stuff I pointed out just before. :D (can I have my torso back now?) Pixel Artist - Former Player Mod - Former Tip.It ModNot taking sig requests - sorry!

Yeah, three people can't be wrong... I am going to go back later today (if i have time) and redefine the stone walls over there... I think that I might dither the stones also... The tree by the water's edge looks like it's about to topple over - unless you're going for that effect, you might want to straighten it out. It is sopposed to be leaning, I might have gone a bit too far The pool, as you've already identified, is at an odd angle - maybe try making the pool widen as it approaches us. Not too sure what to do with it though. Yeah I might also try and make it square like what his name suggested... Anything to make it look a tad better It's probably just me, but the character (I assume it's supposed to be female) has very masculine facial features. Ignore me if I'm completely wrong. X_X hmm, the stickler... I really have no clue how to make her (yes her) fetures appear more feminine.. :-s I might try and thin the nose define the lips and highlight the face more Thanks for your comments and C\C... You got off, but over a hundred other people are waking up without legs :( [/b] New sigzor^^
December 17, 200619 yr Feminine features? Smaller nose, smaller chin, thinner waist, thinner arms (maybe), and the hips, try to make them a bit smaller too. However, I can see where you are coming from, that it's a bit hard to do. Writing in colour was fun while it lasted...The Tip.It. Furry! :D
