Blackarch2
WELCOME ONE AND ALL!!!! So heres what I was thinking for NEXT years christmas event: CORRUPTED ELVES have taken over Santa's workshop and HE'S DISPEARED!!! Take out your rusty spade or pick one up from Falador and go to MRS. Claus at the "north pole" (Al-kharid FREEZES OVER :!: ) Then she'll give you a clue that you need to follow it around and eventually find the entrance to Santa's workshop. Dig up the entrance and your in! Then once your in there, use what ever weapon you have to FIGHT OFF THE ELVES  , or for skill pures use an x-mas card shooter to shoot the elves and give no exp in any skill :) . Then you'll eventually get to the "boss elf" whom you'll have fight, unless your a skill pure because then he'll surrend right away, then you'll the lvl 126 elf, with 10 hp  , the giant elf will drop "giant elf clothing". Then you will untie Santa and he will thank you. Then he will drop some "fairy dust", lol , and you'll both be transported to MRS. Claus and they will thank you. All of the sudden a little trap door will appear and you'll be asked to go down there. You'll bring up the subject of the giant elf clothing IF you decided to pick it up, if you didn't then you missed the ENTIRE FRICKEN PURPOSE of the event  , then you'll go down inside and find the only elf that wasn't evil. Then you will talk to him about the clothing and he'll fix it up for you. When you get it back, put on the ENTIRE outfit and you'll feel something in the pocket, so you'll find a ring and the elf will wink at you and teleport you outside. PUT IT ON AND YOU'LL SHRINK TO THE SIZE OF AN ELF!!!:shock: And you'll be able to go anywhere like an elf . So theres what happens, pretty thought out eh? Well that's it guys hope you like my idea, and the first set of elf is MINE NOOBS!!! So what do you think? \ Mmm... Mudkipz...
Nul_Oblivion
I can just imagine everyone in the game equipping the ring and reducing to half their normal size. I like! Retired Member

everfreefire
I see one problem with this. The entire purpose of these holiday events (or i shall assume the purpose of them) is to allow everyone a chance to get them the same way regardless of level or skills. Getting to the boss elf is based on your stats, and even if stat pures get the 'easy' way through, what will help the low level go through if the elves were stronger for the higher levels, or make this a challenge for the higher levels if the elves were weaker? The best solution (in my opinion) would be to have everyone use the "X-mas card shooter" (or similar item) throughout the whole thing, and (you'd have to take out the the boss elf for this, which is the only problem i have with this) when you release santa, you get the elf clothes. Other than that small problem, the idea is good, it just doesn't work well for everyone who plays.

Toxicologist
Relax! This year's Christmas isn't even here yet... nice to see your enthusiasm, but this is a bit too early, do you not think? Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims. ~Toxicologist~

Toxicologist
I don't think you even grasped what the true meaning of Christmas is. Poor, commercialised Christmas... Why do you resist? Blackarch2
I don't think you even grasped what the true meaning of Christmas is. Poor, commercialised Christmas... Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Baby Jesus, and spending time with family. Exchanging gifts is for showing love to other family members to show how much you care about them. Never tell me I don't know anything about christmas :shame: Mmm... Mudkipz...

The karajama volcano froze... And a volcano's lava can get over 1000F. And Al-kharid hasn't had an update in god knows when... And quests don't count. So, doesn't it deserve a little attention 8-) Mmm... Mudkipz...

PK in the snow! And I could get PKed in the snow! Everybody wins! Seriously, I think this would be a good event, minus any concerns already brought up earlier.
