MyPurpleCrayon
Recently one of my best friend's parents had a divorce. They don't live together now, and my friend is probably going to have to move because his mom cannot afford the house by herself. They are running out of money, and we feel horrible for them. So me and our other friend chipped in and bought him this for Christmas. We gave it to him, and it was one of the best feelings ever. The gift of giving is a far better gift than any other. Have you all ever had an experience like this one? Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
issy2
Yeah. The best present anyone can ever give you is a true smile. Edit - The gift of giving is a far better gift than any other. Meh, I don't think that's true. There's better things than getting presents, don't you think?
MC_Kejml
Of course, yes, I had. When me and my friends were playing ''Magic:The gathering'' card game, I wanted so much for them to play. So i bought them cards, that fit into their decks well(that they could play), I do not know if they were not able to purchase them, but because I knew that they would end with playing if some great problem occured, i did that. Then, when they've started talking with me about them and the other cards, I was like Sadly, no one of them plays till today. ^ my book :^_^: I don't play anymore, but I'm grateful I played through the best RS times! Ape
Whoa. That put a smile to my face; knowing we have people on TIF who care about stuff like that is pretty cool. MPC: I hope you have a very happy holidays, man. It's also made me think. I was just about to throw about 3 large bin-liners full of clothing out. I just told my Mum she HAS to take them to Oxfam tomorrow, before Christmas. -Mitch New sig to come!
assassin_696
You got him a picture of an ipod? That's cruel man. He's teasing him, the meanie :P Yeah I think it's great when you get that feeling of giving and putting a smile on someone's face. There was this one time I went everywhere looking for a book a girl I knew wanted but couldn't find. That feeling when I finally tracked a copy down and gave it to her really was the best. Nadril
You got him a picture of an ipod? That's cruel man. . Thats awsome MPC :). Kind of on the same subject, I was at the mall today. We were waiting in a line in the target inside and a little girl and her two parrents were with her. The girl was crying a little bit [not loud, just that she was sad] because there wasn't this movie there that she wanted. The dad told her that he would call santa, so he got out his phone and started to "dial santas number". I'm not sure if he was talking to a real person or not, but he started talking on the phone like he was talking to him. "Yeah, hello, santa? Ah, hey santa. Do you have [move she wanted] in your sack? You do! Great!" The girls eyes just got really big ;p.

He thought it was a cruel joke or something, then he saw the receipt with the warrant on it that we also bought for him. It was seriously... one of the best feelings ever. :D Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so. monkeypie10
Yesterday, my mother and I were at HAGEN DAS eating some amazing ice-cream. And here in Qatar there are lots of workers from like India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan who are payed around 30 Qatari Riyals a day , less than 10 canadian dollars a day. It was December 26th and it was 38 degrees C ( believe it ) and I saw a worker washing a car in that heat. I could see how exausted he was. So me and my mom invited him in and bought him some ice cream :) I actually had to convince the store manager to let him in, he said " workers are not allowed " . I really wanted to kill him after that statement. Well what made that day, is the worker started crying of happiness. Anyways, it's great what you and your friend did for that guy. Someone in our school died recently, and a card was passed around to EVERY SINGLE grade. Around 1,200 signatures on an a huge poster in the hallway.
