What's the best/fastest way to make money?

Second Question: I wanna get my RC up (40 ATM) but I don't wanna use the abyss. Any other way? Not fairy rings either...cause...er...umm...I don't have the stats for the quest. :oops:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Third Question: I wanna look awesome in members, so I want armor that's not too expensive. So dragon and Barrows are not an option. Any suggestions?

Probably mining or woodcutting, since those are pretty decent. Or you could train combat on a monster with good drops. I suggest Ogres or Moss Giants for herb seed drops. You could also kill green dragons! Those are great. If you can get 12 kills per trip, thats 12 hides and 12 bones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

12 hides at 1.5 each = 18k

 

 

 

12 bones at 1.6 each = 19.2k

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Altogether, that's 37.2k per trip!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Always bring 3 items just in case a PKer decides to attack you. I'd suggest a Fally teleport for safety. I usually bring a whip, berserker helm, and my antifire shield, with 16 lobs.

if your skills are low you can pick flax and sell and if your crafting is good enough you can make bow strings with it (good crafting exp also) and sell for gold...

I'm not a noob but I have no base equipment for Green Dragons, would pure essence mining be good?

Hm.. pure essence is easy to obtain, but it'll get you very little gp per hour.

Hey, a fellow Matt.

 

 

 

Mining pure essence is good to get you started, as well as picking flax, but I prefer pure ess.

pure ess and flax make 100k an hour. Nature running through the abyss nets 400k an hour, if your levels are high enough.

I got nearly 300k off of Green Dragons in less than an hour.. that's good for just whacking stuff!

Get 3 items: Weapon, Antifire Shield, and any other piece of armour. Maybe even bring some disposable armour pieces (addy and down) for extra protection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Get some lobs: I'd say 16-20 should be good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Get a Fally Tele

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ok.. now that you're set up:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1) Go to the green dragons in level 13-17 wildy (can't remember) next to the Castle.

 

 

 

2)Kill until your inventory is full.

 

 

 

3)Tele or walk back to Falador, bank, and repeat.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You'll have loads of money in no time!

If you just got members, level up agility. (I know this has nothing to do with the question) Use the world map to get to the gnome stronghold agility course, and camp there until 30 agility. That should be enough for now. It will only take about an hour if you don't get distracted.

For Fairy Rings, you don't need to finish it. You could start it and get to the part where you use the Rings.. then you're set.

I would say as others have said.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pure ess sells for 100gp these days and mining 1k of it rarely takes more than 2-3 hours if your going slow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for flax it's pretty much the same EXCEPT

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

bowstrings are alot more 160-180ea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So not only would you get the crafting exp, you'd get money too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They are easy to sell in game or on the forums.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fishing lobsters is a good way just as it is on f2p!

Some Rune (G) or (T) would be nice, not all that expensive, but still will set you back a few bucks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or you could invent your own look as I did, but it's more of a skilling thing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When I fish, I wear a Mourner's Gas Mask, Slave Shirt, Jungle Pants, Slave Boots, Diving Apparatus, leather gloves, and lastly my whip. It's kind of a poor man look; I like it :D
