December 31, 200619 yr There were accounts of it before. You can get those things without wearing a mining helmet. You just had enough luck when you put it on to make it seem as if it effected it, but I don't believe it did.

December 31, 200619 yr the accumulator is buggy. almost made a thread about it but it isn't topic worthy. right when the quest came out I was crafting cosmics and an iron ore appeared in my inventory after i withdrew ess from pouches. did not have accum on me(did right before it). not sure how it happened, tried again and it didn't work.
December 31, 200619 yr So far I have gotten iron ore, steel bars, steel knives, steel dart, and toy mice from the accumulator. I feel pretty sure you just get a random chance of getting stuff they have on their accumulation list when you wear it. Some things like arrows are higher odds to get when compared to steel bars. At least this is my impression of it so far.
