I noticed that the hands on the mage looked the exact same as the hand on the dead guy.

Look closer, he recolored the robes, changed the head with really bad editing. Just to make it less suspiscious, he moved the dead mage's left foot a bit to the right of the original image (left from dead mage's reference).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: most of the blood on the dead mage was left exactly the same.
