A new space scene i've done :) I decided to go for a postcard kind of look this time :)

My newest space scene. I decided to work on the Starfield more this time, blending elements from Alyns and Greg martins way of making star fields. (Alyn's way for most of it, but in the begining i did it like Greg did, doing the Brightness/Contrast thing)

i think it turned out well, it seem's alot more peaceful than my other scenes, which had tons of color and stuff.

Also, all the planets are mine, and the stock photo is from Stock.xching.

Hope you guys all like it,

EDIT: fixed the transition. Infact it's nearly a different image now, i made it a lot brighter :) Definitly worth another look :D

btw, if you guys realy like this i have a signature auction open for the sig version of this (kind of like a 1time print thing lol)

Thanks :)

Off topic: Nad, could you tell me where to find the other star field tut?

I love the starfield even if it's a little plain. Mb make a nebule somewhere? =)

Planets are nice and the ring is cool.

The transition and photo and reflection are the parts that need some rethinking in my opinion (I don't want to be mean but they are a bit ugly :? ).

Look on http://www.alyn.deviantart.com 's page, he has one there.

I wanted it to be like that, was going for kind of a peaceful image :)

Mmm the space part of the scene is very nice...

only things i'd fix are :

-add some nebulas cause the starfield is a bit flat

-get rid of the small planet on the left...looks like a flat sticker on the image that way.

The rest tends to be realy (and this time i mean REALY) bad according to me...

There's so many problems i can hardly imagine u made that

so let's start :

-The bottom shore of the foreground land is way 2 sharp and saturated...

-The Top part of the same land is blurry

-Behind the trees there's a blurred thing i realy can't understand...and that i'd get rid off in a second....

Overall i can't give more than 6...

i might just Redo the bottom part. Shouldnt be that hard, just gotta gather the stock photo again :)

Yeah i think the same...might be faster and give better result :)

I think the concept is interesting but that part spoils all the beauty in the image :)

[Didn't mean to be hard btw...just that i know what you can do, and you can do way better than that ]

ur getting better at merging the more i see the more i like it

Thanks :) I decided to do a nice calm image as i said, although if i can get it right my next one all hell is gunna break loose, more or less literaly

Good work, but I think the photograph is a little bit too blurry compared to the space scene.

Thanks Jap :)

Bout the blurness, i'll look at it again, probaly just the way the stock photo was took though :)

First thing I have ever seen from you that impressed me.

Good work.

Some relfection problems, and other minor things, but this is definitely the nicest looking thing I have seen from you. Text could use some help too.

Thanks keiph :D That definitly means alot from you :o

Totaly different choices but...mmm way better than before :)

I think you could still fix something in the foreground image...but maybe your hands are tied by the "sharp" look it has...dunno...i'd try merging this level with a copied, slighly blurred (1-1.6 px) one...

Good work however mate :)
