Clearly when you first agree to the Runescape ToS, it says 'No one under 13 may play'. Obviously that means that it is Teen rated (I know it is truely about the whole internet privacy and gathering of info on under 13 year olds) So, most teen rated games have a few curse words in them. Now when I say loosen to censors, I don't mean have NPC's cursing and everyone shouting [bleep] everywhere. I am meaning like let us say 'rl (Real Life), poop, crap, darn, damn, the very silly and not harmful curse words'. It gets really annoying when you send a message like. 'brb, gotta take a **** (poop/crap)' Even one day, I was talking to my real life friend on Runescape and was going to say 'Brb, gotta take a pee', well, I knew it would probably block 'pee' so, I put in 'p', here was the message 'brb, gotta take a *'. Now that is getting plain ridiculous.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many people will now say, There is people under 13 playing Runescape. YES I KNOW! Here is what Jagex should do if they remove the censors. Some mom of a under 13 person gets angry and sues Jagex. It won't even be a case. Jagex brings a copy of their ToS. Clearly stating if you are under 13 DO NOT PLAY. Bang, case closed.

I support too. This game has the worst censor filters of any game I've played. Really stupid decision of Jagex.

I would think that the least they could do is make it so that they don't block their own NPC and place names...It's rather hard to tell people who to talk to when you get "Awo*****" or something similar all the time.
