I need a software that takes screenshots of a selected area... I can't seem to find any. Please hlep me.

Because sometimes it's just plain faster to do 2 steps than to waste hours searching the net for a program that does it for you. In the 2 hours you waited for these replys you could have shot and cropped 100+ screenshots.

I know that gimp does this for you. I have no idea how to use it, but my friend used it last year for his computer class.

Use a program called Snagit, it can take the code from, take a video of, or a screenshot of a certein area. It's really good and also has a pic editing program that is not as good as PSP but 10 times as good as paint.
