January 12, 200719 yr Author several things surprised me about this: 1) You spelt "Becks" "Bucks" as if she had married a dear 2) You were talking about tabloid trash 3) You spelt disgrace correctly in your title, then, whilst commenting on it, you spelt it incorrectly 4) how the hell did you put an "e" into "moving" - the "e" key is so far away from the "o". You may have a different keyboard I suppose. 4) You care about this trash? 1. Bucks= Big money :notalk: 2. News is news 3. I didnt know how to spell it at all 4. Your 5th question is the answer to this 5. No, i just think its a disgrace

You may have a different keyboard I suppose. 4) You care about this trash?1.) You spelled "deer" wrong. ;) Plus, has it occurred to you that perhaps it was a reference to the money he'd be getting? 2.) Well, what did you want him to do then in regards to this topic? Grab the couple's financial records, personal information, moving contracts, etc.? 3.) We all can't be perfect with our spelling. 4.) Maybe he typed "moeving" (moveing which is incorrect of course, but that can be a typo) and deleted the wrong vowel. 5.) You typed 4) instead of 5). >_> It's just something he wants to share. Your post wasn't very contributional to the topic at hand. In regards to the topic, maybe he really isn't doing it for the money and wants to have a bit of change, plus bring back some quality into the football/soccer team in the US. Can we really disgrace everyone that goes to another country for that? Plus, as people have said, it's not him that asked for the salary. It's what was being offered, and sometimes you really can't ask for lower or that would ruin your name oddly enough. Couldn't you just have removed that post and saved us all from wasting our time reading (and re-reading to make sure we had not mis-read the mistakes) the whole dam [sic (in case the 'n' is not allowed O:) )] waste of time? Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you.
January 13, 200719 yr Geez, if he was a lawyer being asked to move to the U.S.A for 128.5M over five years, no-one would care. Seriously dudes, just live and let live. Ok beckham is doing it for the cash hes in this not thinking about his kids. posh is only famous cause shes maried to him so famous for being a (censored). ~kiddo Hmm. Proof? I have to agree with How2Pk here.
January 13, 200719 yr If some one offered me 1 million dollars AUD a week to kick a soccer ball around. Of course I'd take it. But with him saying "I'm doing this not for the money, but for the challenge" is bs. Of course hes takng the money, but why go to a team that sucks? He could've stayed at Real Madrid and still would have been payed enough money to buy another mansion or a record deal for his wife. I think that soccer clubs need to have some type of salary cap to stop this madness of paying players millions of dollars. I they really loved the game, they wouldn't care how much they're getting paid ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!

January 13, 200719 yr I hope with all that money he's a big donator, with all those starving children living in poverty out there. If they think he deserves that amount of money then he deserves it. Good for him.
January 13, 200719 yr If he dosen't get on the news for donating to charity, he's doing it for the money. It's a rediculous amount of money and if he's a decent bloke, some of it should go to charity.
January 13, 200719 yr I'm pretty sure he will give some to charity ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!
January 13, 200719 yr I'm pretty sure he will give some to charity He would have to, but I wan't to see it make the news. Seriously, anyone with that much money should try and help the world. The best philanthopists are rich. And as for bill gates, well instead of amassing a rediculous fortune, he could have given most of it away without much or any lifestyle change at all.

Plus, he's giving everything except a few billion to that whole Africa fund....Whatever they're doing. Wasting it on people with AIDS for medicine or something. Yes, lovely. Keep the people with AIDS alive and doin' it. Good plan. I don't mean to sound harsh (yes, I do) but he could have, like...Fed them. Or....Something. Something more useful. If I'm not mistaken, most of his fortune "amassed" is in Microsoft stock, so he doesn't just let it sit in the bank. He owns a large portion of Microsoft stock...Thus the wealth. Microsoft's stock jumps up double-digit-percentiles every quarter, so he's only getting more wealthy, lol. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
January 13, 200719 yr Uhm, to me fighting AIDS seems pretty useful...But that could be silly old me of course... Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

January 13, 200719 yr If he has the talent to be able to paid that kind of money a year then good on him and good luck to him. I agree that footballers are paid a ridiculous amount of money but you can't hold that against him. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

But at least he is giving money to charity Quite an Interesting thought out reply Warri0r. Anyway Bill Gates for all we know may give heaps and heaps and keep it a secret. I don't like how celebrities give and make a big fuss about it, so that they can be made out to be heros and such. They should keep it to themselves instead of having to make everything a publicity stunt.
January 13, 200719 yr George best went to LA didn't he? Anyway I don't think that anyone has a right to say what he should or shouldn't do. Imagine if you got the chance to do something you loved for bucketloads of cash, and I'm sure some goes to charity. CANE Just to be different. Think about it. A freaking Dragon Cane with a Dragonstone gem.The spec will simply your character equiping a glove and beachslapping the enemy, who will break down and do the Cry emote for 10 seconds straight.
