60 - 99 Firemaking

Ok, so the 99 Firemaking Cape has caught my eye. I am not rich, I am willing to spend a lot of time going from 60 - 99 firemaking. Any ideas?

Things I might consider:

Chopping willows and burning.

Chopping yews and burning.

Buying willows and burning.

I need more ideas though, 99 is a LONG way away from 60.

Depending on your WC level:

cut willows (fast) and burn them. This is cheap because it cost you nothing!

cutting yes is staid to be low under 75WC, after that you could consider it. anothe option is to cut yews, sell them, and buw willows. In that case, yews 270 ea = 9 willows 30 ea! Or 12 ea in a F2P shop with loads in stock.

If you dicide to buy all logs, you are best served in a F2p world with many logs in stock, for example the Varrock or Lumbridge stores. Here, logs will cost 12 ea I think.

itll cost around 1.7m:

60-99 requires 141,786 logs.

141,786 x 12 = 1,701,432

and, you could probably find all those 140k logs in one store,

but good luck burning them :P

honestly, I think this is the cheapest, and one of the quickest ways of getting 99 firemaking.

I saw a guide somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Well, The guide tells you to buy the willow logs in lumby general shop and then go into the smelting house and start to fire the logs. It's a very good method. Oh, And another tip if you are making fires by taking logs from the bank. Use the Varrock west bank because on that place you don't need to run away far from the bank to light the logs, You only need to go outside which saves a lot of energy because running with logs is bad.

Yup I saw that guide...

Just go to Lumbridge General store and buy the logs around 15 gp each. Then just burn until it hurts (you know... from all that clicking? nvm...) It will save a ton of cash.

Varrock East bank is also a good place to burn logs...

if you burn willows it will take you about 4 months to get 99

it only took me a month by burning mostly maples.. choose that you can buy easily for 90 each on forums

buying willows and firing them is the fastest, but most expensive way. if you need too, you can cut and burn, which a bit slower because you need to take time to cut the willows. i'd highly reccomend not to use yews because there are so many autoers, and unless you have very high woodcutting, you will waste a lot of time. buying and burning yews is fastest, but yews are worth too much to burn

Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

I'd say buy willows from store in Lumby. I went from 41-60 firemaking in 1 day doing that.

Trust me, is not take 4 month, I burned 90% willow and did around 1k per hour.

Other 10% was from cut and burn as I go yews in rimmington.

I'd say if you aren't very rich, just cut yews and burn em...but ONLY if you are lvl 80-85 + WC. It would take forever if you werent. until about 85 wc, just cut and burn willows like a mad man. I suggest right in back of rimmington, never more than 2-3 people there, and theres tons of willows along with a lot of space to burn the logs. But yews would be better.

If you are willing to spend money however, buy yews...but that would be increadibly expensive from lvl 60-99. :ohnoes:

I've been hoping for my first 99 for a while now, but I can't decide what to get it in. I <3 the firemaking cape, but I have a lot of logs to burn between me and 99 firemaking. Is it worth it, in the end, to have 99 in a skill?

To some people, it's worth it. To others it isn't. You have to ask yourself whether it'll be worth it for you :P
