ermm...I opened a link, and out in the link display it said[caution 20% kelogger]....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My question is, how can I scan for and eliminate the keylogger....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

btw I have antivir if that helps at all...

That was just some guy joking on the forums here, and an admin thought it was for real and removed his signature :S

I have seen numerous people around on forums with these in their signatures it is ridiculous. Majority of people don't look in the left hand corner of the screen and notice the url.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chances are you don't have one, but Poiuytreza2, regardless of whether he was joking it is not acceptable to post links like that at all. It's childish.

One of the best ways to scan for Key Loggers or other virus's is to put the computer into safe mode and then run a scan. I have only used norton, so Im not sure if its applicable for other software programmes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Start - Run - (type 'msconfig') - (click on) boot.ini - check '/SAFEBOOT' box, restart computer and when booted up jus run a scan. Takes a bit longer to scan. When your done, jus repeat the process but uncheck the /safeboot box.

Or you can simply press F8 during startup to load into safemode...

Don't do that, it can cause an endless restarting loop. Use F8.
