Cruel_Deacon Posted October 28, 2004 Share Posted October 28, 2004 oh no, y did you mess with your background freeman? you just needed to change the text, i would have suggested a shade of grey/silver no offense but ur new coloration looks off...it's hard to see the depth that you had in your first version, it just looks like colors and lines, however, i would suggest that you keep messing with the image and you should get something magnificent, but my vote so far goes nad (if he de-sharpens) freeman (origanal) nad (if he doesnt de-sharpen) freeman (new yucky one :P ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Your piece has more shape, depth and contrast (shadow/light, sharp/smudge and shape/erm..flat?). I quite fancy it as it is, though a little bit of unsharping wouldn't hurt. Freemans piece seems to have no purpose (I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, not my intention). It's a pile of renders with different blending options. Or at least seems so. No offence, but I really don't get any feeling from it. It also seems very flat. Not going to address the typography. I probably made no sense as it is very late at night. Until you can provide some information or reason why they're 'ugly', I can't see why anyone should take your critism seriously. Odd's are you're just having some trouble understanding the 'abstract' idea :P. Anyway, sorry Nad, but I'm puttin my bets on Freeman. Your's is just to.. simple. Mostly a illusion of the original/base image :)... or so it would look. Freeman, very good. Love the tendril looking things, gives the whole image perspective. Good job man.
