more worlds needed?

Runescape need new world to be honest, with the ever increasing community the current worlds won't last for long.

For the people that have said to raise the capacity of the worlds, wouldn't that make the problem worse? 500 more people to clutter up each world wouldn't help, in my opinion, no offense intended. As for me, I'd say more worlds would be nice.

Agreed, increasing the capacity would just cause more trouble than it'd solve. 500 people is 500 more connections for the server to handle, this would in the end turn into mass-lag on various servers (for example World 1 and 2).

Word on the street is that Jagex is going to add some non-English servers. Perhaps up to 5 more per language. All of the people that don't speak English will be on their own language servers pretty soon, so, essentially, problem solved.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Take a look at the Swedish/Finnish servers... there are about max 1200 on them, most of the time about 700... I'd rather see some more British or American Ones

There are weekends with 210k+ players and there are weekends with 180k players. It completely varies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but its not like jagex is lacking money to maintain new servers huh? i mean, andrew gower is one of the richest people in the uk!, mind you, i do support a cap increase, the cap now is just too low for the ever expanding runescape community!

Yeah, because Jagex hasn't made millions of dollars off of Runescape. :roll:

 

 

 

500 thousand a month is 6 mil a year - taxes ~5.2 mil

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

now take that 5.2 mil and subtract salaries and stuf and they still have a few mil to develope

 

 

 

Drunk dude, there are about 1,000,000 members. Just check the fletching high scores, and not everybody im members has 30+. Thats 5,000,000 x 12, or $60,000,000.

But then again, some of the people have quitted rs/ are f2p now.

Wow I remember looking at that and seeing something like "There are now 4000 people playing"! Hard to believe there are almost a qurater of a million people playing now...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway on topic I think it's a good idea, more worlds are necessary Runescape is expanding alot, when was the last time they realised some new worlds?
