February 7, 200719 yr I have done the entire quest, up to the point where I lead the guys as the champion of the niezit (or however it is spelt) so, can AI do it with this?? levels: 65 attack, 54 strength, 52 defence, 40 range, 50 mage, 57 hitpoints, 38 prayer.
February 7, 200719 yr Get your Yak Armour on, I believe it provides better defence against Trolls than other armour. Also, when fighting the Troll King; put on ranged prayer and try to kill him as quick as possible without him using too many ice spells. Take a super set if you have one.

February 7, 200719 yr i died there using melee prayer as he kept on knocking me back making it hard to get a tele away. The second time, i didnt pray at all, and only got knocked back a few times. Having read the thread on gen p2p a few people found that mage prayer was pretty effective. Best Barrows Chest: guth skirt, dh helm, dh axe, racks, gp (23/08/06); best tt reward: robin, guthix helm, guthix legs, nats, rune legs

February 8, 200719 yr I used: DDS++ Yak Armour & Beserker (my stats are below) I too found Protect from Mage to be very helpful. If you're frozen, you can't move for a sec or two. At your prayer level, I'd take about 4-6 ppots. Also, you might want to consider doing it in two rounds. Round 1 would be to kill off the 10 trolls. Go back out & refuel then come back for the Troll King. Check out the RsWiki Guide for Fremennik Isles for some more tips. February 9, 200719 yr I took a dds, super set and d scimmy, and the fremmenik armour from quest/berzerker helm. I used prot from range and had no real problems. U can always try ring of recoil. DDS worked well for me. I made sure that I had auto-ret on. He freezes u but u are in melee range so u can still hit the poor troll king. U can get 2 prayer pots, 4 tuna and 1 Str pot for free when u first enter the cave. Make sure u go to the right cave. The middle of the three will kill u quick. Cave entrance is on far ne side of the islands. Barrows Drops: Guthan's platelegs and War Spear, Dharok's plate body and Great Axe, Verac's Flail, Verac's Helm x 2, Ahrim's top, Dharok's plate legs Dragon Drops: Medium Helm x 4, Shield Left Half, plate legs x 2, skirt x 2.
February 9, 200719 yr Super Set, 2-3 Prayer Pots(4), and at least sharks. I used Tuna Potatoes, 16, and had to eat 'em all. The most important thing is the one-click tele, which you have. They can hit close to 20, so be very careful. I saw lots of 90+ players getting taken to task.

I wore the Yak Armour and the new Fremmy shield the guy gave you, and I think I protected Melee. You get one hit, then he bumps you away. When he bumps you away, simply eat if needed, and have a shot at him, it gets annoying having only 1 shot at him, but I didn't even drain all my prayer on him, I just drunk 1 dose to top me up. February 9, 200719 yr I am level 96, I found him pretty easy to kill with protect from mage on. I used a few monkfish and a couple of doses of prayer pot's. Did not get knocked back once, I stood real close to him and hit him with my d scimmy. If you have protect from mage and some food/prayer pots you will be fine. Tip - tele out once you have the head, those horrid trolls still give you a beating after you have cut his head off & i died the first time :oops: BTW: I wore yak armour and had the big wood shield.
February 9, 200719 yr When i killed him I had full yak, the helm he gave you, THe shield. My d scimmy,dds 2 P pots & Monkfish. I had no problem with him but use protect from mage as his max hit with his ranged attack is 2-5.
