I wouldn't say 15, seems a bit short to me. Only a bit though.

What I'd love most of all would be twink/non twink BGs. Have no idea how theat would be done, but I hope for it nevertheless.

Didn't they say they were going to implement that, or have they already? They just look at your gear color/level or something and place you in a Battleground with people that have similar gear. It's not too difficult, I know if it hasn't already been implemented it will be next big patch.

well i've just started my 2 week free trial and i'm incredibly confused :D god knows what server i'm on but its good fun!

I really.. REALLY need to gear up before I can run Kara. I tried Curator tonight with the guild's Group 2 and I really stunk at DPS.

Curator is THE gear check, he's also the first guy that isn't easily PuGgable. My old guild could down him fine, but you really need some epics going on to have a hope. It's just so hard because you need to have the dps/heals going strong, while conserving mana. God I hate that fight.

I bought an Orb of Deception out of sheer boredom. How entertaining.

Out of plain curiosity, how to you setup your Curator fights? It's more gear dependant than a fair few of the previous bosses - due to the enrage timer if nothing else - but as far as PUG'ing it goes, I'd hate doing Moroes more.

well I'm back, level 10 warlock and still thoroughly confused! Just hitting the time for talents and things and thats made it even worse!

Any tips or tricks for a low level warlock, currently the technique is to hit them with a corruption/immolate and maybe even curse of agony (or something along that line, hits low and gradually increases) then shadow bolt until death. All whilst my lil imp whacks fireballs away.

Keep in mind that things don't actually aggro until the first shot hits them, which means firing something with a traveling time - Shadowbolt - and then immediately start casting something that hits instantly - not sure which of corruption and immolate gives the best damage at your level.

Most warlocks spend their talent points on instant-corruption first (it's an affliction talent) because it allows you to cast it while moving (Shadowbolt, Immolate and then corruption. Done at max range, you can run a fair while with DoT's ticking on him before he catches you).

What faction/race did you go for?

Human/alliance, and having read through the earlier bits of the thread

I'm gona get jumped on for that  still coulda been a blood elf :XD:

Thanks for the advice by the way, its annoying atm as the trial account wont let me do basic things.

I HATE blood elves. They are definately the most gank-happy and annoying class in the game as seen from an ally. Trolls are generally nice, orcs keep to themselves, undead are a gamble (can be either), but blood elves...I have not seen more than 1 blood elf who doesnt go gank happy if they have a 10% or more of winning.

Eh well part of the game who cares.

I ran SM 5 times today. Four times a high guildy ran us (2 people) and the other was a PUG. I got some good gear and a fair amount of money. I'm still trying to save up for that mount. I'm at 70g and 30 swiftness potions (I have to sell).

oh and anyone want to give me some tips on armor/weapons :uhh: :uhh:

My problem is for most of my WoW play-time, I've chased +crit and agil gear. Now that I am in end-game, +AP has greatly overtaken importance.

Basically, it's lovely seeing all that yellow damage but without the numbers its useless. I simply couldn't burn down the adds fast enough.

Was doing the Org'rila intro quests and all of a sudden, this happened.

Have to do with someone finishing a quest I assume.

Anyway, about Curator. If a shammy is in the group with chain heal, a dps and healer either side the MT along the wall and the others in a group behind the MT with a healer behind them.

If there's no shammy though, just do the usual 6 or 8 yards apart.

^^ holy crap you have nice gear

Last Tuesday I thought I'd try and get ahead of the game by logging out in Netherstorm before the servers went down to be the first to access my arena gear before it got crowded.

It appears I wasn't the only one with that idea.

The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard.

To pull a monster toward me, I hit it with Curse of Agony. It's instant and can be done while moving. At level 10, you get your Voidwalker, and I would highly suggest using it for awhile. :P Anyway, hit it with Curse of Agony, and while the monster is coming toward you, send your minion out to attack it and keep the aggro off you. The Voidwalker is extremely good at doing this, since it has an attack that taunts the enemy to keep them attacking it instead of you. While the monster is preoccupied with the minion, I go for Immolate next, then Corruption. Then Shadow Bolt, or run up and hit it with my weapon a few times. ^_^

Darkmage: As part of the Alliance, I can't stand Blood Elves either most of the time. :P I've met a few nice ones (like today, met a couple of hunters who didn't use /spit.). but it seems like most of them are... [wagon]. :P However, it's fun to kill them. A level 41 Paladin came up to me as I was emerging from SM and decided that he was going to attack me (I'm currently level 42). So I beat him and he didn't come back. I also took him down again when he decided he was going to raid Southshore. Moments like that make me smile. \' Ever notice that all Blood Elves look like Goku?

Anyway, playing as the Horde, they're alright. Their little spinny jump just sets my heart aflutter. ^_^

Haha, theres some quest chain that starts in Ogri'la where you end up having to kill 5 sons of Gruul or something. Once you've killed all them the ogres all praise you and you become their king. I think that's what that is anyway, I finished that a couple days ago and it looked exactly like that. Is that near the Ring of Blood?

woo! ding 65 and i broke the +500 healing barrier. Something i've been meaning to do for ages. I really need to lvl my professions though. Still only 285 tailoring and 278 enchanting.

Just had some fun in Heroic Durnholde. :D

It's not as hard as I'd been told - the only real difficult part is the pats, before the first boss. You need to burn them uber fast and get the huts burning.

currently i do something similar, only if its a non-aggressive monster i hit it with immolate first (longest cast) then corruption and if its far enough away I can usually get a curse in before sending the void in, I just got him though, hes great I call him Keith <3: . Can't do much with weapons still got the dagger I started with, I have mace spec but can't equip them, it confuses me lol.

That's just a human racial passive ability.. the mace and sword specialisations both are.

As a 'lock you will never be able to use a mace, and won't see the need much.

Thanks, its just boggling the things I have to remember atm, so I'm limited to daggers?

Keith the Voidwalker - sounds like a comic :P

keith has his own range of merchandise and may one day breach into the world of comics, I don't have power of speech for Keith though - hes not talkative.

I know it's not much to you guys but I dinged 26 yesterday running thru Razorfen Kaul. Got a few real nice items but can't use em for a few levels.

Edit:: As I have been running out of space on my action bars with more and more skills I'm obtaining, I have been looking for an Addon to make it easier to organize or just something that organizes my action bars a little better. Any tips?

No you can train swords too.. staves too. Stick with the dagger for now though. Don't worry too much at the moment, you're still getting a feel for the game.

If you decide to keep playing, your knowledge will increase ten-fold, very quickly. It's not that long ago that I was running around in Elwynn forest, getting used to it. I'm still learning now and I'm level 70.

That's not true, well done. As I just said to baron it's a steep learning-curve and while you may only be 26 now, it's only a matter of time before you're getting killed regularly with us in Outland.

Well most of us use addons for that.. you can organise your bars any way you like, add more bars, etc.

I'm using Trinity at the moment but there are plenty of them out there. Get it here. It can be a little daunting to work out at first but you will get the hang of it.

Vanilla WoW Ftw!! I use damagemeters Atlas and Atlasloot, and thats it.. none of those fancy UI changing addons for me.. i can do just fine without.

I really dont see what all these addons do that makes them so useful in raids ect... I havent had any problems healing a raid with vanilla WoW.
