Yeah, tuesday mornings officially SUCK. NOTHING works. Not even the armory. I was going to check out what PvP rewards I could get with all the arathi basin I've been doing but nooo it's down.

 

 

 

 

 

By the way, I'm saving uip 3.3k honor points for insignia of the alliance on my gnome mage (blackrock). I recently bought a really nice cloak for about 100 honor points and I figured why not. I make 200 honor a day without trying.

 

 

 

Oh and Kayla add me, Zedar (21 undead warlock)

I'm thinking of possibly playing my 29 lock instead of 26 priest as an alt. Wondering if it'd be viable to AoE as a mage/lock, lol.

 

 

 

 

 

ps: anyone having troubles logging into the forums/account management? I am for some reason. [The 'retreive password' thing brought me to an error as well, I assume they are just working on the site]

yeah, I was having the same problem. I wanted to make some posts on the forum.

I was wanting to keep up with a topic on how this lvl 68 shadowstep rogue thinks the class is perfectly fine in pvp. :lol:

GG Blizzard on removing attunements to SSC and The Eye. Now any scrub guild can walk in and down void reaver/ hydross.

 

 

 

If you can't kill Nightbane/ Gruul then you probably won't progress very far in SSC.

im thinking fo redownloading wow but i think my pally is boring. What class is fun but can hold on it own? Im getting kinda bored of rs and wana play again.

Honestly just try them and make up your own mind. I won't corrupt you with my opinions of classes in top end pvp at 70.

 

 

 

 

 

*any* class can solo efficiently because WoW is incredibly easy up to 70 =P.

Also, which is better for lvling quests or instances it seemed pretty even and equally fun but idk which is quicker because i wana try to lvl to 40 in a week or two for a mount hehe I'll prob make a account on burning blade to play with some people from the start and for a little help on my way up =p.

A mixture of quests and instancing is good. theoretically if you have all the quests and know where to go questing is faster. Instances give you better loot which you need to help streamline leveling.

 

 

 

The 'pure' DPS classes who are not pet classes are the following:

 

 

 

Rogue

 

Mage

 

 

 

 

 

The secondary DPS classes I would say (no pets):

 

 

 

Shaman

 

Druid

 

 

 

 

 

You then have classes who generally in instances tank/heal but can do otherwise:

 

 

 

Priest

 

Warrior

 

Paladin (primarily tank/healers, poor dps except soloing).

 

 

 

 

 

You then have the pet classes:

 

 

 

Warlock

 

Hunter

 

 

 

 

 

Both pet classes are often considered part of the primary DPS. Warlocks hardly even need their pets after a while and its just a good bonus, hunters need them more.

I'm thinking of making a mage, it sounds fun and seems like a class i woulda like to give a spin. I will get my membership back this week if i save up a little money. Warcraft seems fun again because of a bigger area to play in. Hope to see you ingame soon. :XD:

I think you're safe with a mage. Try not to burn out though - these races to 70 (or whatever level you want) tend to burn people out. It's "fun" at the time or whatever but there's no reason trying to impress other people by leveling fast if you're just going to quit the character once you reach that goal. Enjoy your leveling experience. I learned that the hard way on a few characters.

So is any heroic other then Mech going to run with the new attunement? I spent alot of time getting to revered with all the factions, doing the Cipher chain, then doing the annoying heroics and I'm still 1 trial away from attunement (not anymore though). I guess it is a good thing, but I'm still a little pissed about it.

lol, GG blizzard tech support. I've been getting a ton of D/c's latly in battlegrounds (after this patch) so I decided to make a post in the tech section.

The titles pretty simple.

 

 

 

Whenever I am playing the game (not in a battleground) I am fine. However with the recent patch I have been experiencing massive disconects. Sometimes I won't be able to log in on that character for a couple minutes (but can log on others just fine).

 

 

 

Its also happening on more than one toon. Now I noticed that the patch before this last one made me lag at the start of a battleground, I guess while it all 'loaded'. I never had that before. This new patch today pretty much just broke it .

 

 

 

Also I should mention that it is not an interface issue (WTF folder) nor a connection issue. It started from the latest patch.

Connect your computer directly to the modem without the use of the router.

 

 

 

If that doesn't help, then go into the World of Warcraft directory(default location C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\) and move the WTF, Cache, and Interface folders to your desktop. Then log back onto World of Warcraft and see if the issue continues. Then make sure you have the latest network card drivers and configure your card appropriately as follows:

Ok, gotcha.

Same problem as you Nadril, was on th Gulch battleground and seemed that the Alliance side went Laggy and I eventually Disconnected.

 

 

 

Still I mangaged to finish the battlegorund which was good. First problem ive really had with WoW except when i went into the Orc + Troll city and lag out cause of loads of people.

 

 

 

Also nice one on getting the dagger 8-)

I noticed earlier today that using an action to break stealth (like cheap shot, ambush, etc) would freeze my main bar.. no clicking or number buttons would work.

 

 

 

No idea if they have fixed it yet.. it was all over the rogue forums at the time.
