4 sets of 10 Bicep Curls, currently lifting 46 kg.

On each arm?

guess again big guy

its called the barbell curl

Definately not each arm :D All the weights I do are weight machines except the stuff i do at home and none of that is over 20kg (only because my weights kit doesn't have anymore weights to put on it). I max out at about 30kg for one arm, haven't really tried for a while.

Lol, fair enough then. :P

mm, so u do ur bicep curls on a machine?

u do know that 46kg on a machine doesnt mean 46kg real weight?

depending on the machine of course, sometimes its half of the weight it shows, sometimes its a fourth

simple physics

I got that. The way it works (I think) is that they position the weights so far from the the pivet point and the lever you lift half as far away (if the weights weight half as much as shown) so that the force required to lift would be 46 newtons but the weights are only 23kg. I believe that is the setup on the machines I use as I can life 20kg per arm with a simular ammount of effort with weights as with the machine on both arms at 46kg.

Geez.. I've tried those indoor ones, I do okay vertically, but when the rock slants to the point where you're between vertical and horizontal (back to the ground horizontal), I just fall because it's so hard  .

Anyways, I was just saying that tennis>badmiton.

Try not to turn this into a flame fest otherwise it will get closed...

I'm 17 so my body is mostly changed my shoulders just need to widen abit, and about doing sit ups while holding a weight, my weights suck so it wasn't very effective compared to the sits up i doing at the moment...

I do those sit ups 10 times each which is 30 sit ups and i can feel it working, i try to do 4-5 sets a day at the moment, which are usually spread out...

Also i'm trying to find some exercises that i can do with my weights for upper body...

We'll see how long this lasts, im missing the gym already and its closed for like another 35 days :(

prime example of what i was saying, because he's still developing, he shouldnt be doing high weights low reps at risk of causing damage

OT: Luring is sooo easy to avoid. That's what those nice signposts are for.

I'm on the swim team. November-January, this means 3 hours of really fast swimming with short breaks. Rest of the year, practice is a little bit shorter...

Losers...

Are you blind or ignoring me on purpose?

Even though I sometimes side with religious people in some debates, I no longer consider myself religious.

I'm really hoping thats a indoor swimming pool, even then its not the type of weather you should be swimming in, in UK, but you could live somewhere hot :P

Inclanation can be a factor, but not the most important. I've climbed a very slanted wall more easily than a vertical run because the vertical run had very few handholds and there was only barely in reaching distance, while the slanted one had plenty of simple and huge handholdes. The trick for slanted runs (often seen indoors) is to always have straight arms and save as much energy as possible. It's not easy when you have to take one arm off to pass the rope through and it's a very different challenge from a run with handholdes that are spread appart.

Rock climbing simply rules 8-)

I've only done rock climbing once, and it was really fun, but was pretty easy as all the handholds were pretty close to each other, would love to go again <3:
