February 11, 200719 yr There never were pink phats, in RSC the purple phats looked like pink so people called them pink, when RS2 came out Jagex made sure they looked purple. And never was such thing a a black phat. February 11, 200719 yr The black party hat is a nice tale made up by RSC-players. Purple party hats used to be pink, but with the release of RS2 they were made all purple.
February 11, 200719 yr The black party hat most likely does not exist but is a pure rumour that Andrew has the only one. As Jmod's items are untradeable, what does it matter if there is or isn't one. Pink party hats were the rarest in RSC until they got duped. Thousands of hats came into the economy, making them go from the rarest to the most common. Jagex deleted hundreds from the dupers accounts, but many escaped into the general populace. When RS2 came out, they were changed to purple. They are now far more common than say white or blue party hats. They currently do not exist in pink from on Runescape except for RSC. February 11, 200719 yr Thing is this : No black partyhats, just fantasies. Earlier every partyhat was just named "partyhat", so the people decided that it was pink.
