Favourite Movie Quote?

For those interested: the last big movie quote topic.

There are a ton of great ones, I would probably have a lot of Star Wars ones and to go on the other end of the spectrum a lot of Casablanca ones. But since we are only allowed to choose one, I am going to have to pick it from my favourite movie, Donnie Darko:

Frank: "28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes and 12 seconds. that is when the world will end."

"Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock." - Harry Lime (Orson Welles), The Third Man

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

I love that quote, especially since Switzerland didn't even invent the cukoo clock which makes Switzerland seem worse :D .

He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart,

and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.

- Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)

[Ezekiel 25:17 among others]

Jules: The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

and the whole cheeseburger scene

OT: Luring is sooo easy to avoid. That's what those nice signposts are for.
