Speed Login - - - Pics, and info on a new more efficiant log

Featured Replies

Hi,

i recently experienced extreme lagg when i was hopping through the runescape pages, to try and log in.

so i thought, why not have a shortcut, on the home page.

you would be able to set your own home world, like on swift s', and you just enter your user and pass, and it brings up the game, in a new window, and starts logging in.

here is a pic:

A Topic exactly like this already exists on these forums and i think has a few pages already.

Although it would be impossible to link your login on the homepage to the rs java applet, I would like to see them bring back our user area.

I think the worst thing they did when they resorted the homepage was to get rid of the user loggin area. Those of you have have been here longer will remember what I talking about.

You used to be able to log in to bring up your user area. From which you could enter the forums, vote in polls, compare hiscores with friends, check your messages, upgrade to p2p/buy more credit/cancel subscription.

They way they have it now, you have to log in to each feature seperately which really irritates me.

It could protect your account, but your data would be stored in cookies which would then be hacked. Sorry, no.

I completely agree, it gets annoying having to log on each time...but it is a bit more secure, less practicle...but better than having our account stolen.
