Question about Prayer

Hi everyone,

 

 

 

This week, I will start my goal of 99 prayer. I am currently 69 construction, and once I get 70 I will build a gilded altar. I just have one question about getting prayer up with the altar. Is it better to get my house in Yanille, and walk to and from the bank? Or, is it faster to pray at house, teleport to Falador or some other place, run to bank, and then teleport back to my house? Im just wondering which way is faster. Thank you!

I'm not sure, but if speed is your priority, wouldn't using a butler be the fastest option? (by a lot)

I don't think that a butler can bring you bones and the herbs you need for the burners.

If you have them in note form in your inventory, he most certainly can.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A butler will unnote any noted item in your inventory. However, he will only bring select Construction Materials directly from your bank.

Put it in yannile and do house tele, it alot faster. Simly tele to your house, burn the bones, run to the bank get more st00fs then tele back and do the same thing.

So... what is the fastest possible way to get 99 prayer, other than burying? I was under the impression it was teleporting/ walking from the bank to your gilded altar. Is having them ina note faster? Im confused. :?

Keep all items you'll need (Marrentills and Bones) in noted form in your inventory, as well as lots of cash (to pay your butler). Simply have your butler bring you the items you need then.

My butler will have nothing to do with bones. I usually get a friend to keep my burners lit while I use my mounted glory to tele to bank for a load of bones and then use a house teletab back. It's my understanding that other servants won't unnote bones either :cry:

No idea, just get tos of bones of bones and go to your house and burnt them...

Just keep a stack of house teletabs in your inventory and either use your mounted glory or the one you are wearing to tele to the bank, take out a load of bones and 2 marrentils and a tinderbox if you don't have a helper, and break a house teletab to get back to your altar. It really goes very quickly - especially with a friend to keep burners lit.

Why do you need 70 construction? Why not use the crystal saw and teak shelves 2, with gilded teacups? You can do it at 69.

Don't you have to recharge the glory? And, teletabs are so expensive, I am already spending tons on the bones..

I'm curious because I built marble ones based on the information in the Runescape Knowlege Base but posters here say you only need the mahogany burners to get the maximum prayer experience. It's a huge difference in cost and I'm not willing to rip out my marble ones just to test it. :?

Nope, that's the beauty of it, especially if it is fairly close to your portal and altar. Unlimited use :D
