Midwest Blizzard!!!!

We had a fairly mild December and January, then comes February with the -500 temperatures. Now we're slated to get 15+ inches by the end of tomorrow night!!! AND MOST SCHOOLS WILL STILL HAVE SCHOOL! But no worries for my district, we have off tomorrow anyways. I just got in from shoveling the first wave of solid packing snow. Our driveway isn't long, but really wide. Like basketball court sized. But luckily, we'll be moving before the Spring really sets in, and our new house's driveway is quite small. Anyone else have the winter blues as bad as me? :boohoo:

Lucky? I've shoveled about twenty times my weight in the past hour alone, with a shovel that basically twists your wrist around when you try to fling the snow onto a pile. And while I was out there, some bozo with a plow slowed down by my house, and waved and stuck his tounge out. Turd. Have fun surfing, anyways. I wish I was anywhere but here. :wall:

We have a snowplow, but its one of those clumsy push behind things. But my dad usually hogs it, so I'm stuck with the idiot shovel. Me and my sisters are actually taking bets on how many times we'll need to shovel by the end of this "snowstorm." I say at least 4. On a funnier note, I was watching the news last night, and they had an anchor out in a town a few miles to the north of us, and all of a sudden you see one little flurry (I spelt that wrong) come down, and this guy gets all insane. "Get your shovels, Wisconsin!!! BLIZARD 07 IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!!!!" I was in hysterics, because that was all that fell during this guys report. One freaking flurry.

Power was goin' out a few times yesterday in Minnesota. Looks pretty snowy/icy outside, but it isn't more than like 5 or 6 inches.

The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past.

First fall was powdery and not that hard of a fall, but today it was fast and heavy. You see, i have to do our house, and 2 neighbors houses, and halfway done with our house, the snowblower breaks down, so i got to do 2.5 houses by hand :wall:

Yea there is a foot of snow on the ground and it is still snowing hard. Kind of cool and kind of annoying at the same time. I hate driving in this stuff.

I live in OK, and yesterday the wind gusts went up to 60mph...

Losers...

Are you blind or ignoring me on purpose?

Even though I sometimes side with religious people in some debates, I no longer consider myself religious.

I don't got any snow right now, but I live in taiga with alot of evergreens and over 2 feet of snow here means gigantic tree branches snapping under the weight of snow and hitting power lines. And I got lots of gigantic trees near me and if it rains before a snowstorm/blizzard you will have warnings saying "don't sleep in the south/north side of your house".

I remember one warning and some guy said "If you have any trees on the south side of your house, it would probably be a good idea not to sleep there."
