barrow question on range

What is the lowest range lvl i could use to complete barrows.

You don't actually need range, although it does help against Ahrim, it's not essential. If you're a descent melee level, then you can go toe to toe with him easily enough.

Hmm. Magic is the most important skill for Barrows, followed closely by Melee. Range isn't important.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So i'd prioritise development of your magic and melee skills buddy.

ok tyvm...im getting my magic to 60, maby 65, and useing fire bolt with chaos gauntlets. that should take care of all the melee brothers. and i've heard you can mage karil too. So would 60 att with a dds/d long combo be enough to kill ahrim.

Around 90 attack with a super attack potion would be enough to kill Ahrim. :XD:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Easier if you get 60 Range, and use Mith Arrows and up.

You'll need slaying level 55 so that you can use Slayer Dart. Very important.

I would wait till your higher level for barrows - your hp, mage, attack, strength and range are not on the hs -.-

Ahrim has better melee def than range IMO. I had great difficulties melee him so just range him

comp freak-im getting my mage to 65 and probably slayer to 55 for dart. And range will be 50. Ive been told by some freinds that 50 will be sufficiient. Also since i will be trtaining slayer with melee my att str and def will all probably be ranked by the yime i strt barrows though i wont be useing melee so i dont see how thiis has anything to do with the question i asked

barrows is a minigame for 90+ I can do it at 88, but it really isn't that efficient. Anything below that wastes way too many ppots.

You can do it at 40 if you bring green d hide body, chaps 25+ rune arrows and yew short. You won't hit very much but with 40 you can do it within 1 full p pot.

sorry for the offtopicness...if thats a word, anyways, i'd recommend at least 50 to do it, but 60+ is better, but if you have the supplies, go ahead and try it at 40

apparently you havn't tried this.....when i had 48 it took over 1 pot w/ 100+ rune arrows and g d hide body and chaps, even now at 53 it takes 2/4 or 3/4 of a potion with the msb special 2 times....

don't say he is very helpful just because he said what you wanted to hear....you do it at your lvl and you will barely break, if you even do that

I never said i needed to make a profit. if i do break even i will be happy but im not depending on this to make money.

 

 

 

As for your slanderous accusation that i said he was helpful just because he said something that i wanted to here; I have this to say: vulxai you and comp freak only said it was inteded for lvl 85+, as a lvl 69 that is an unrealistic goal. Captain kidd ssaid it was possible to do at 40 range. This is helpful since it actually relates to my question of "what is the lowest possible range lvl i could use for barrows"

i didn't say it was ONLY intended for 85+, i said thats what is recommended, theres a player thats in his 40's doing it, hes a pure but it still proves you dont need to be lvl 85+
