I wear a brace, not bothered about it. I always forget I have one....

I've had braces for about two months... They don't really bother me, except flossing/brushing takes longer.

I don't know but my teeth look incredibly crooked but my dentist hasn't said anything - he said MAYBE

I finally got those hunks of metal off two days ago. I absolutely love having nice smooooth teeth, but for some reason my front two teeth are really dark (almost a grey hew) and the Orthodontist took an X-ray and said they are healthy, so I dont really know whats up with that. Anyone have an idea?

Hate to ask, but post a picture? What you are describing could be interpreted as several different things. But I'd need a visual to compare. Don't think the forum rule would suffer from a picture of teeth :P.

My front teeth were discoloured yellow because of calcium deficiency. They weren't completely yellow, it was a circle in the middle, which was even uglier. I have had them re-done (took the yellow part out and replaced that part) and you can't notice them now, and they feel no different. Also, because of my deficiency, my right molar tooth was really weak and was wearing away, so I got a steel cover. When that falls out (i think he said when I was about 18-20) I hope to get a gold cover, so I can show it off to impress, and hide it in situations where showing off your teeth is not the right thing to do. It will be so cool! :D

Nope, but if i needed braces, i would refuse to leave the house to the dentist. \

I used to have braces now I wear these see-thru retainers.
