Gawd, get real. Watermelon seeds is about 0,25% of seeds you steal, which is about the same as ranarr. Number is based on own experience at slightly below 90 thieving (calculations from about 25k seeds stolen). At 97 thieving numbers stay the same. And no, they can *not* be bought from any NPC, only from other players.

So yeah, if you enjoy fighting any of those monsters or if you get them as a slayer task, go for it. Otherwise, stick to master farmer

I've seen guards drop them a lot, try guards.

if you're not into thieving, ogres south of yanille drop ONLY seeds, and they are mostly medium-high level seeds (including watermelon). good for some prayer xp too.
