hey, i was recently trying to get to 94 magic for the almighty ice barrage =p. anyways, i looked into cursing, but it'd take a mind-boggling 240,000 casts. i will be having 5.8million to spend on this. any ideas?

i have just above 10 million gp right now, and so i must buy bows and strings in increments of 20k. at the end, i will have a total of 15.8 million gp. this being said, i cannot alch the bows and not lose money no matter which way i put it, unless i mine my own pure essence, and then craft it[not happening].

you can high alch, probably not the best way though

You dont have a lot of options with only 5.8 mill, but if you aren't really worried about time, using the mage arena properly can actually make you money.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Otherwise try pc with a clan such as affliction :D

Well from looking at your sig, why not alch bows your making? If you get your own nature runes, you will make a lot of profit.

Why not finish getting 99 fleching and alch off all of the bows along the way, You will be making money and not spending money this way. Also If you are 90 combat then join affliction and do some pc every now and then, If your not 90 combat then once you hit 90 mage most pc clans will accpet you. I think mage arena is fairly good xp also and you can save up for the items then sell them to make some/all of your money spent on runes back.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other than that I dont really know an amasingly good way to train mage as im only level 75.

If you buy all your nats 310ea and all yew longs 600ea. You would only lose 142k per 1k alched so this is really the best thing to do. If you make you nats or yew logns you would make some profit.

I heard the best exp to lvl 99 is casting curse (lvl 80 spell?). I'm not sure how much that would cost though, probably more than what you have.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A free way would be to alch magic longbows. To not lose any money alching those, you need to buy the logs 1k ea + 300gp nat + 200 Bs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But alching those bows would take probably very long.

Buy the stuf to alchemy with, you would lose money but magic is just another money draining skill, alchemying is the best way to level magic cheaply, other then barrow (with slayer dart= free casts kinda)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You could try curses but 280k of them would be like 560k clicks while (moving mouse) and losing money, 560k clicks is like alchemying 280k of somthing, 94 magic would take almost 1/3 of that, meaning 1/3 the clicks and your not losing all your money.
