RuneScape Information

  1. Your Tip.ItSpace account still works? Dag. I lost the password to mine years ago. It's something everyone's guilty of at some point or other. Also, some of the busiest posters were also some of those who got in the most trouble (I'm looking at you @Arceus, you bad apple ). Not all mind you, but some. They pushed discussions forward and sometimes they would descend into arguments which would sometimes drunkenly stumble into rule-breaking territory. Goodness knows I dealt with enough of them before I left. Mrs Chips said earlier that the staff and mods here were corrupt and working against the community, and except for obfuscator taking bribes ( :P) I know that we weren't and most of you know that we weren't (Kim dealt with that wonderfully already so I really don't want to get into it again, but bear with me here). If I had a dollar for every forum warning I've gotten here.
  2. Sliske was all about hanging in the shadows until he attained godhood, now he's basically Gielinor's version of Donald Trump.
  3. Who's the fool? Has DarkScape been steady or is it dying out?
  4. But both those tasks are amazing, Dagganoths in particular. I'll trade you the Dark Beast task I got for them. I'm not complaining about the exp, it's mad (200k per task). Just want some diversity that's all. Five waterfiend tasks in a row.
  5. I hope Raptor chokes on a pretzel. Nothing but waterfiends and dagganoth tasks. Over and over and over and over.
  6. Because the player base, as with pretty much any game, has a group of basement dwellers who would dedicate their time to harassing those players whenever they log in. If I were Jagex I'd have written a script to pick up on accounts being created with assembly line names (751John51, 523Mary45, etc) and flag them as bots for review.
  7. They have so far...Yup and currently seems they will continue to do so for sometime. Joys of microtransaction culture right? How long until the membership packages become season passes? Would the annual premiere club packs and summertime 3-month packs not count as season passes?

  9. Interesting bitty in the press release Jagex sent out alongside the merch store piece. Bonds are lucrative business for them. "Bonds are accrued either by purchasing them directly from Jagex or through bartering with other players. They have proved to be exceptionally popular with the game’s massive player-base since they launched in 2013, with more than 350,000 RuneScape Bonds transacted every month."
  10. Are you talking about the camera facing south? That was an intentional update done to fix a bug until a permanent solution could be put into place.
  11. Feel free to stop posting here since you hate the game and all of us. Probably not. The current model isn't healthy
  12. I'd feel better being under the impression that the update was half-assed or rushed than knowing that this is what Jagex considers fully thought out.
  13. Depends on how often they spawn. I assume not enough to make a big impact, but you know what they say about assuming, Jagex, and balancing.
  14. There's no more reason to log on...Then quit. I have, more or less. I don't pay for membership anymore. I log in to do some f2p stuff every now and then. Luckily there's old school if you don't want basic MMO features implemented ten years too late and on an engine that can barely support it.
  15. Yes. It's a 100% drop from the confused barbarian. Confused barbarians don't drop chewed bones.
