Blaze The Movie Fan Posted July 7, 2005 Share Posted July 7, 2005 Note: Whales are eaten in four pieces Healing: 30 (8*4) You can fish this after beating the quest "The Wine Of Zamorak" and "Fishing Contest" [someone MUST make "The Wine Of Zamorak" quest] You need big fishing net to fish this. The new fishing spot in Falador City (will be added) is the only spot there you can catch whales (the house leading to that is locked in the free-player's world) So what do you think? Crim_nimora Posted July 7, 2005 Share Posted July 7, 2005 ....whales with a net......whats wrong with you? lvl 55 and they heal 30..... lets bump them up to something....much higher....and move it to I dunno MAYBE THE OCEAN...how many water places are there in falador....well you have the fountain and a moat......not exactly the best places for whales to live considering fountains are about 6ft in diameter and moats generally consist of sewage... and also you catch wales with a harpoon... Underground whale fishing :) I have no problem with whales healing that much, but, like others have said, they need to be a higher fishing level than sharks. And, of course, put 'em in the ocean. Of course, all, this discussion about harpoons, nets, and whales swimming in sewage could be avoided if you just read Moby [bleep] Wait a minute...Ahab as a NPC and a 'Whale Hunter" quest? I would suggest increase the fishing level requirement to 80+ (85 maybe), and require 90+ cooking level. As for the fishing gear and location problems, I have a solution that handles both. It is the FISHING TRAWLER MINI GAME! It makes sense since you are going out to the ocean on a well equipped and manned (hopefully) fishing ship. So let's get onboard and catch some really big fish!!! We said fishing (no...NETTING) for underground whale at level 55 fishing that heal 30 hp (Which is 8 * 4, remember? lmao) was a bad idea. Blaziken has a reputation for not thinking before he posts. If he just took some time to actually fine tune his ideas and do some RESEARCH...he might actually get some good responses. But this...no.
