I usually find the lyrics to be meaningful and touching if you can make out what they are saying :wink: Quite a tricky task at times. Not all are just plain Screamo, but some include a soft touch here and there..those are the best if you ask me. Some of my favorites include: +Norma Jean +Emery +Underoath +Stiletto Formal +He Is Legend +Greeley Estates Too many to name actually :) I love 'em all. Screamo is an excelent category of music, because it gives you that "adrenaline-mosh" type feeling with a good sense of emotions tied with the song. I checked some out but really didnt find anything worth listening to : not sure if It Dies Today are screamo (more metalcore?) but they're good. The Used for example are pretty good. Most pure screamo is just pants tho. Substitute for lack of singing/songwriting talent. Bands more like Portraits of Past are true screamo and were around long before all this chart crap came out (1997 i believe they formed). A static lullaby formed in 2001. I used to love all of those bands before they became mainstream, doesn't change the fact that their is emo lyrics with screaming?
