Thagern
When playing Runescape it is often dificult to deterimine what external features effect our characters, such as poison, tele-block, and others. This suggestion solves that problem by adding two new menus which assist in viewing external effects, and another menu which lets you alter what you see on-screen. The first new menu shows you what effects are affecting your character, these range from potions, to charge spells. The menu is shown by a vial with a green potion, next to the attack style menu. [/img] You will notice you can edit when the warning will appear on-screen, hp; you can choose 50%, 20% or 10% of which your hp must be before the warning is displayed. Runes and arrows have the options of 50, 20 or 10 of runes or arrows left (note: the warning is the same for all types of runes and arrows) When the warnings are displayed on-screen, they will appear in a black box, on the right hand side of the screen and the type of rune/arrow will be displayed as a picture of the back, with the amount on the front. The warnings will remain until you right click on them, change the warning amount, or refill arrows/runes or eat to gain HP. The amount will count down as you loose/gain HP, arrows and runes. Many thanks to Xerowingsx5k for your ideas :D Please feel free to reply with support and feedback (i think you'll find it leaps and bounds better then my previous post of this :D ) View the#1 suggestion on tip.it forums! gotsol
i like it, and i think they should start adding those sidebars on the side nice idea RSN: 1 day late | Private chat: On | 60 ATTACK | 81 STRENGTH | 72 HITPOINTS | | 80 MAGIC | 13 PRAYER | 1 DEFENSE | 65 COMBAT |
Guest
Yeah that would be useful but is it going to far and taking "the lazy man option," because it wouldn't be to hard to check yourself though it would save a few seconds when getting pked in the wildy. meb
Great idea. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. bilbobaggins
the low HP and low arrow warnings would really come in handy. but the thing is, something like this would NEED to be F2P. if it were not, it would either A: give P2P pkers in F2P wild an advantage, and B: cause a bigtime uproar over why such a big/important update isn't F2P but, then again JaGeX doesn't really listen to F2Pers, pertly because we're only playing a demo of P2P and partly because they don't let us (I'm never going to a forum I can read and never post in, it's absurd) I also think that poison/curse/ low skill warnings would also help. say if you''re like me, and yo uoccasionally drink a lot of beer (enough to get you to 0 atk) and then decide to go to the wild, you're toast. also low prayer would help. I can't count the number of times I've run out of prayer in the middle of a battle.

Greedom1
i like it --- positions or locations of the menus might have to be changed, but I see these onscreen warnings helping out pkers and general players -- a lot. Maybe even adding a sound warning as well? (this could have the unintended effect of helping afkers though.) anyways, it's preaching to the choir unless Jagex actually implements it. RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean?
