The levels...

I recently decided that since I can't simply stick to training a single level for an extended period of time that I'll combine 3 separate skills into a single one. The first of which is 99 magic. The second is 99 crafting and lastly 91 runecrafting. I'm going to try and do it in a little cycle where I make a lump of bodies, make nature runes (and some extra to cover for other losses as well as wasting some essence at FFL), and I'll finish each cycle by alching the bodies. I've timed that in a well managed day I can get an easy 400k+ crafting experience. Runecrafting I average about 2,300-2,500 natures per hour. Magic I've never actually timed how much experience/alchs I get per hour, but I'm guessing about 1-1.5k per hour. As for a time line I think I could get 99 crafting and magic by July and runecrafting would come within a couple weeks after that.

The Goal

I've always loved to do magic, along with runecrafting of course. I got level 94 about a month ago and after some deliberation I've decided to alch the bodies that I'll be crafting to get level 99 crafting. I believe I was to be alching about 67k bodies which will get me to just over 12m experience and level 98. The last experience will be easy as pie to get. I always seem to get more motivated the closer I am to finishing a goal.

Where

Mainly, I'll be alching in world 99 or 129 Edge. 67k alchs is a long few hours too, so I may talk it up a bit too.

Current Project

Waiting for myself to finish making the bodies and nature runes. I'll have only about 3-5k bodies to alch at a time, depending how much I invested in hides the previous day...

The Goal

It's a rather easy 99 skill which not so many people have accomplished. I'm going at this one I guess because, sure anther 99, but mostly because it comes with a cape that I can add to the collection. :

Where?

Well, I'll be buying hides in Fally world 2 or in the forums (better deals in the forums usually). I'll be tanning and crafting them in Al Kharid.

Current Project

I bought 9k green dragon hides to start myself off. Cost roughly 14m, have 2m cash left over to be able to pay the tanning fee. I'll get a little over 14m back after alching them though.

The Goal

The all so famous 91 runecrafting of course! I've decided it's about time that I bear down and complete this long term goal of mine. I've lost some money in the past and I'm hoping to get it back via the wonders of double natures. I'm aiming for a Yellow Partyhat after I reach 91 runecrafting, followed by 99 runecrafting to round it off. :

Why?

Who doesn't want to get level 91 runecrafting? The ultimate skillers paycheck. This has been a goal of mine for quite some time and after reaching 94 magic a couple of weeks ago and going through a couple of unfortunate money losses (friend yoinked my green partyhat on the day of my 99 fletching party... and I died at DK's due to a lurer and lost ~10m in items) I have begun what I hope will be a sure accomplishment. I'm sure I'll be able to do it eventually, but I'm going to try to complete it sooner rather than later.

Where?

I'll try to power through this so my private will be set to friends for the majority of my game play, but I'm sure you'll be able to find me in world 66 at Fast Free Laws or in a low population world in Edgeville. :-w I manage to avoid pkers very well, in about 125k natures made via the abyss I've only died once as a result of a pker, but I managed to die in the air altar, respawned in fally, got my tiara from the bank and got my own glory back. :thumbsup: I hope to see at least some of you around in game.

Bank Picture

As I've said before, this isn't even close to what my bank has been worth in the past. I believe my all time high bank value was 220m including my Green Partyhat and 36k strung Yew Longs. I'd have to say increasing my bank value will be my #1 priority for my game play the coming while. Also, there's a Mystic Mud Battlestaff missing from my bank as I've lent it out to Skili to play around with in the Mage Training Arena.

wanna race to 90 craft? im getting 90 craft perty slow im 81 craft now and need a lil but more motivation :D

I'd normally jump at it, but at the moment I'm just going to stick it out runecrafting for a while. It seems I can get in the runecrafting groove once every two months and if I do something else I'll never get it done lol. :anxious:

I added a couple progress bars for my runecrafting goal.

Natures Made: 7,041/60,000

That's my progress after 2 nights. Tonight I'm hoping to finish up 10k natures at least and may go for up to 12k.

Three nights in the books. Averaging roughly 1m (3k natures night). I should get this done in only a couple weeks time... : I'm also deeply considering a push to 91 Runecrafting seeing as how I could double my money per night, easily getting my Santa back if I were to sell it to pay the dues.

I've pretty much made up my mind as to focusing on a run to 91 Rcing. I'll run the abyss for as long as I can stand it, cash out and go to FFL if I need to. I figure it'll be well worth the 40-50m investment it'll need, plus it's 91 rcing... who doesn't want it? :

Easy 2k made tonight. Easy hour of game play. I also put a little more thought into my plans and I may cut this 60k short to buy a simple 100k essence and have a million or so in cash left over to buy super energies or stuff as it comes along. Plus, with 100k it'd make enough profit to buy a s second Santa and have 10m or so to reinvest in rune essence. :

300k Pure Essence!

And, After selling the 15,000 natures I had made up to tonight. Combined with my recent questing (completed MEP1 & MEP2) I sold my Santa for a rather unexpected 21m. I then spend the rest of the night taking advantage of the new 90-100ea Pure Essence prices and made my way to 300k pure ess! I'm going to creatively work my way to 91 now. I'm considering doing FFL when I play during peak hours and then use the abyss when the worlds aren't too busy. I think that combination will work out good as I'm still about 130k pure essence short of having all that i need to get to level 91. I'm planning to make death runes when I do craft through the abyss as I've been able to sell more of them at a higher price than natures lately. :thumbsup: I'll keep you updated as the levels will be coming a little bit quicker now with FFL. Plus, my soccer season finished so I'm only practicing twice a week with my tournament team so I'll be on a little more.

I had to call in sick to school today, so I at least got to do some runecrafting. I like Runescape and all, but once I miss a day of school it takes a week to catch up.

I'm found that my Peak @ w66 and Empty @ Abyss runecrafting technique is working out quite well. I'm looking forward to trying it out a lot more over the next few weeks... : Also, with near 75k runecrafting experience today it's one of my biggest experience days of all time. I'm going to aim for getting an average of 60k experience per day because it'll allow me to complete this goal in only a couple months time.

Go jimmy! I've been considering getting ~80 rc with nats and then using fires to 91. It's supposedly really fast and you break about even.

I did fires from 44-54 and it took a day. I'm sure it's fast, but I don't remember it being faster than FFL or even good solid Abyss crafting. Like today I got 24k experience in an hour by making deaths. That's not half bad. :

Today was a real easy day. : Got home from school, did little 15 minute sessions at FFL while doing homework, and finished off the level by crafting the 530 deaths to get it. I have the exact experience of the level too. I'm going to try and keep this format that you see above this paragraph for a while and see how it works out.

PS: Unbeaten, I'll graft you into the next picture I take... that is unless your on... : I guess that's what being on the opposite dsides of the world can do. lol

Good luck Jimmy! I wish I had the motivation to train Runecrafting. I'm currently going for 99 Firemaking, maybe 99 Fletching afterwards :shock: .

Lol, thanks. After watching countless people try and succeed in getting 91 I decided I'll try and stick to it this time. I'm sure 99 cooking, fletching, and 94 magic add up to at least 90 runecrafting in terms of patience. Only have to push myself a little extra lol.
