Because I Need Another Blog!

As if running Planet FunOrb and MMO Fallout wasn't enough, now I stand running yet another forum, but dedicated to the Tip.It boards, and probably to Runescape as well.   First off, the obligatory "about me" bit. I'm 20 years old, and I currently live in New York. Currently I am majoring in Communication Arts, where I hope to move on to obtain my degree in broadcasting, along the spectrum of radio. I'm 20 years old, but my tragic flaw is in my baby face. I still get carded to get into R RATED MO

1-Oct-2009 Display Names: Who are you and what are you doing on my friends list?

The reason I titled this blog "Troacctid's Gielinor Review" was, see, I had this plan that I would type up reviews of the new content, and that would be the context in which I voice my opinion on "Runescape current events and stuff." So even though I already wrote more than one entry today, I'm going to write another, because I want to talk about this update. I figure that there's always a chance that Jagex Moderators are looking at me because they value my insight on their work, and I feel a ne

Everything I know about economics I learned in Runescape

Let me start by saying I happen to have a high-school economics textbook handy, and I've been reading through it a lot lately. (Why? Because I'm in high school and I'm taking an economics class. Don't look at me like that. Geez.) The more I go through these basic economic concepts in the first few chapters, the more I find myself thinking, "Yup, that's just like in Runescape." Does that make me weird, a good critical thinker, or both? An economics professor might say it's because you can apply e

Blog Day 1

Hello all. Decided to make a blog with this and I hope to keep it updated every day.   So ya, we'll just start off with what I've done today. I woke up today, got ready for school, and went to school. Average day of school, nothing much to note. Got home, played a bit of Halo, then went upstairs and onto my computer. Pretty much right as I got on, they were in the process of opening up the new forums, so that was exciting. I waited and watched as all the new people got on the forums and saw

I'm Not Sure This Counts As The First Entry

When I found out the new Tip.It Forums were going to include a blogging feature, I was ecstatic! Okay, that's a lie. I was mildly intrigued. Okay, that's also a lie. I pretty much didn't care at all. Blogs are boring.   Then I thought, "Hey, you know, I'm kind of hungry. Maybe I'll go eat a banana." So I went to the kitchen. We were out of bananas.   Then I thought, "You know, I'm an opinionated person. I really oughta blog about my opinions."   Actually, that's not entirely accurate. For added

Blog Number One

Blogs. On TIF? My thoughts have been a bit scattered after seeing the new boards. I don't like the new boards as much as the old ones, the old ones just felt more cozy, and I guess it's also because I spent two years with them. But I can say that the TIF team should pat themselves on the back for creating so many new options for TIFers. Blogging on Tip It would never have occurred to me a year or so ago, and now I am able to give you my thoughts without creating a whole topic over it. I like the

Apologies & Blah

Apologies for my obnoxiously caustic first blog post. It was actually a copy-and-paste from something else I wrote on Facebook today. Anyways, I can't decide between the white or black clone. Someone should make this easier for me and just make a clone of the old theme.   Ah, anyways, I don't like blogs. They make me think that other people think that I think of myself highly and that my everyday whatdoings is interesting enough for the public eye.   Just letting you know, if I do continue to ad

Good job on the forums

Ah, I would like to wish the administrators a good job on getting the forums finished. Everything looks great, although the only thing I would like to say is that I can't wait until more skins. ;)

Regarding the Viewance of my Blog

I can't help but raise my chin at a slightly more obtuse angle than my fellow TIFer; but righteousness is had, as I believe I have earned rights of superiority to my fellow man. You see, there are three kinds of people in this world: there are the have-nots, the haves, and the l(zero)rds. I am your king, messiah, and superior to you in every way. ALL shall be taxed for their earned right to stay on my friends list--and they shall be glad to pay up, for they shall consider themselves privileged.

About Me

Well, a little blog about me it would seem. This probably won't involve alot of Runescape blogging seeing as I hardly play anymore but my day to day life and other random funniness that may happen. Okay basis of this post is just learn a few little facts about me before I start jumping into random posting etc etc.   I am 21 years old. I live in Brisbane, Australia. I apart of the first TETAU group :D I became a moderator in 2007 as the first round of Moderator Trainees. Rabbits are not my f

First Post

So today I did two quests I should have done a long, long time ago... In Aid of the Myreque and Darkness of Hollowvale.   In Aid of the Myreque was pretty annoying as I had to make multiple trips to the bank and whip some stupid snails to death. But all told, it pretty much had the better reward- a bank in Burgh de Rott, which is superuseful for Barrowsing. Made a Barrows run and got bad runes and a low amount of bolt racks. Also almost got pwnt by Verac, easily my least favorite Barrows brother

I herd I got a real blawg?

This is my old blog in hide tags. I'm still keeping that thread open and updated until I see how this works out. [hide] Currently: Agilitying at the Advanced Gnome Course.       <3: Skully_Sc for the banner     I'm Evan, am 14, and live in a suburb of Chicago (less than 15 miles away from Pinkbullet :P ). I started Runescape 4 years ago on and off, and became serious last November, when I joined TIF. I was planning on staying F2P forever, but my parents gave me membership as a gift

Wam Bam, Levels Man!

Hello dear blog readers and welcome to my new Tip.It blog, hosted on none other than - THE BLOGS TAB! It was hard to say goodbye to the Blogscape of old but one must eventually embrace change - especially good change! I have done a sort of slightly updated version of the first post on my old blog as the first entry of this new blog. I've changed my real life picture to a more current one (notice I'm still sporting my favorite necklace however ).   Forum Changeover: Before I get into

Subtle beginnings...

Hiya, with the new board, comes all the new toys to play with. And I'm nothing if not a big kid at heart, so I'm going to try out the blog feature, whether anyone ever finds anything interesting to read here will remain to be seen.   A bit about me first. Been playing Runescape for the better part of 5 years. I took an unscheduled break when my last computer died on me. By the time I got a new one, I tried a few other games for a bit but still checked out RS and eventually came back. Some m
