Nope, you can just talk to the guard (don't say you want to kill all the Ogres!) and walk in without a Nightshade after Watchtower quest is finished 8-) Remember, don't talk or attack Ogre Shamans unless you have a deathwish.

I don't mix pixels and my real life together in negative ways. As the others said, when you level you will obviously feel proud/happy, but when I die in the wild it's no big deal. I usually just say "Oh cabbages..." in a calm voice.
