Have you tried running a virus scan? I remember a virus i had a while ago that shut every time i tried to run a java applet? If this flags something, we should be able to help you

Try downloading a program called NetTools 5. Just google it and you'll find it, Theres a few file/folder password protection tools in there

In regards to the system files question Start -> Run -> chkdsk c: /r Alternatively, have you tried to start your computer in "Last Working Configuration" mode. That usually tends to fix the problem for me. In terms of the first question, im not too sure about linking between computers and being able to access the files remotely, but as an alternative, you could just make .iso files of the disk using a program like Alcohol 120% and then transferring the .isos and installing the game using those. What format is the song in? If it's anything other than mp3 or AAC, then you'd be best off downloading a mp3 convertor (Cant think of one off the top of my head), running the song through that and trying again

Metal = <3 Im a fan of Finnish bands, so i suppose most you of wont have heard of any of these. Diablo. Sentenced.Turisas.Korpiklaani.Sabaton.Draconian. Kiuas. Oh, and i suppose stuff like Trivium, Faerghail, Finntroll, God Forbid. :D

Sentenced. Possibly the best gothic band ever, and quite possibly the most influencial in that genre also.
